  1. Oh, the hilarity. I blame Lance.

    Chris Froome

I see it this way, Evans is still the main threat to Wiggans (from outside Sky), and as such, Wiggans is gonna mark him. Nibali is full of confidence, and is going to hit it hard at some point in the mountains (probably along with Taaramae, Vellits and Zubeldia), Sky will have to cover the move, and Froome is the obvious choice to do so. I see him taking the yellow, and probably the final placings between him and Wiggans being decided in the final TT, with it going a handful of seconds either way.

No. He should drop kick Wiggans down the Colombier and go for the top step.
  4. Maybe Evans had an off day?
  5. Hang on to it a while, reckon it will appreciate...

  7. A Harvard study says that one out of 10 deaths are caused by red meat. You know what that really means? Nine of those 10 people were killed by vegetables.
  8. Like I said earlier. Sky wont cock this one up like they did the Vuelta. They will back a Sky jersey on the top step in Paris. No matter who is wearing it.
  9. Wiggins with the best time at the second time check, 16 seconds over Froome. Evans falling further back with every kilometer. Sky going 1-2 here, Paris as well?
  10. He even breaks the 52 minute mark, but just barely: 51:59.59. 17:15:58 CEST Froome comes to the finish and will take the lead.
  11. Pro cyclists don't have a clue: George Hincapie called it a technical course, with not many straightaways. He was surprised by short ough hills and tight descents. He said it suit Evans.
  12. Thomas Voeckler: "There are a lot of changes of rhythm on the course so the non-specialists should have a chance to limit their losses."
  13. Tony Martin: This course is more for Wiggins than for Evans.I had a rear wheel puncture so I was unlucky again.
  14. Froomey continues his surge, now 20 seconds up on the best time at the second split. 10km to go
  15. To go with his bad face? He lost 1:30+ over a similar distance to Wiggins at the Dauphine. And Wiggins wasn't at his best yet back then.
  16. Wiggins at the time check and he takes the lead, by 4.72 seconds.
  17. Evans at the first time check: 22.07, only the 12th best time!
  18. Wiggins already got 30 seconds on Evans... Soon you will see the BMC car go to Froome and put his nose plugs back in
  19. Schleck comes to the finish line, 3:35 down.
  20. Clearly. So, I guess those decisions Sky management need to make, they at least need to start letting them in the back of their minds...
  21. Chris Froome making Spartacus looking like a mere Caecilius (ie a mere mortal).
  22. ****me! 16:45:50 CEST Froome at the first time check, and he too is fast. In fat he sets a new best time, an astonishing 23 seconds faster than Van Garderen.
  23. Van Garderen has lost time in the end, and can't to Cancellara's time. He is second by nine seconds.
  24. Van Garderen has passed under the flamme rouge. 16:42:20 CEST Van Garderen also with the best time at the second time check, by two seconds.
  25. Gallopin is seventh at the first time check. And Van GArderen has passed Ivan Basso.
