  1. Yes. But please note there is, as of this morning, a problem with one of the owners on Rinkhals. The amount of litter left on the route has already threatened our access. We will post more on that shortly. Riders need to get on board with this.
  2. Wild seringa - Burkea Africana. Glad you noticed
  3. The green, blue, red and Black routes will be fully marked for next weekend. (Approx 55km). We will open the 'Moot' section (15km extra) ASAP thereafter.
  4. Riaan. This is silly. My first comment was actually a bit tounge in cheek, but now the tread has unraveled. That was not the intent. I am sorry you found it grassy. I'd like to know where as for sure it wasn't for kilometers and kilometers. Happy riding.
  5. Riaan. I could say the same. But I'm not really interested in pursuing this line of discussion. We know we have created a fantastic new venue with some awesome trails on the back of months and months of hard work. There are thousands of riders who enjoyed it and will enjoy in going forward. Cheers. Hope you come ride one day.
  6. Next time we'll prepare the district roads perfectly for you! For us its about creating new adventures. I challenge you to cut 30km of trails in 7 months without leaving a few "grasbollekies" ! Maybe you should go back to Tar.
  7. Please let all riders know that there will be NO BEER at the Event on Saturday. This is no fault of Hakahana Trails. Rather spread the word and bring your own - and save disappointment. Its going to be HOT! Apologies.
  8. The routes only overlap once in the middle section, and that mostly on district roads. All routes end on their own trails, right up to the finish.
  9. Late entries available at Cycle lab. Epic Sports and Lynwood Cycles apparently, Check advendurance
  10. Ummm. The drop-off hey? Hope you don't miss it on the day!
  11. Need to contact Advendurance.

  13. Posted a new video - "Bain's Brain" - on Hakahana Trails FB site. - Shows newly constructed drop-off on the Marathon route.
  14. Not as hectic but will still get your adrenalin up!
  15. 600m. The initial climb is tough as it has four stages, but all ridable. After that its just a series of delicious single-track and a few sections of fun dual track and game paths...
  16. Approx 1270m
  17. If in doubt.... Come ride Nissan 4 - Hakahana. You will not be sorry. There is so much new trail, like you are in another province!
  18. achieving times like that on the Hakahana 40 it seems you are ready to make the transition. Choose your first marathon carefully and go out gentler
  19. Unfortunately not the 70 route as its private reserve, but alot of the 40 will be available soon, by appointment. We are also trying to finish off a 10 XC course which will be a lot of fun will keep you posted
