  1. FYI - HAKAHANA is on 5th JULY. (There is ambiguity in the Press Release text)
  2. Converted a couple weeks back.... Never tried anything so good. Long-lasting. Effortless. An Excellent Product!!!
  3. Great Review. Great Bike!!
  4. Hayley are you sure you are talking about Hakahana? One thing I have not got is windey windey paths. Not sure what you refer to above? There is no part of our network that we try to pack maximum trail on minimum area. Some of the routing on Blue is determined by boundaries and landowner options but no windeys!!!!!!
  5. No, No windey windey. Just pure trails in awesome bushveld setting. Tough climbs. Website has comprehensive maps.
  6. Hi. Check out www.hakahanatrails.co.za. Downloadable directions. We are near Hartbeespoort, 20 mins past Northern farm
  7. 20 mins past northern farm. Either R511 or R512.
  8. Those are all good. Red has some serious erosion but manageable. Green is muddy.
  9. Pieter have you considered Hakahana trails?
  10. Sorry mate. Didn't get a good look and traffic was hectic..The smaller bike was 26" green & white - i think Merida. The larger was a goldish colour. Big bike. Full-sus. Probably Niner or even santa Cruz. The guy was walking pushing both bikes. Definitely not a cyclist.
  11. I have just driven past Indaba hotel. There is a guy pushing two bikes. One at least 60k!!!
  12. Awesome feedback sean! Thanks. still amazed you managed on the 1x9
  13. Yes pretty self explanatory. we have marked the end of routes, with an X, (instead of arrow), and the next colour then shows an arrow. Ie blue X will also show green routes first arrow.
  14. Thanks Mate! Awesome comments and suggestions. Really constructive, especially for those to come. Delighted to have some SS cred!!
  15. Blue, red, green and mini-rinkhals (black) are all fully marked. All open this weekend. Note: entry times 06h00-14h00. Exit closes 4pm. We've revised price to R30/entry or R25x10 multiple entry. Muggins you've got credit!
  16. Barbel mostly but numbers are dropping due to diminishing water quality. Unfortunately.
  17. Its a long-term plan, but at least on the table
  18. Good news is that we have now swept all the routes and there was in fact not much litter overall (or Advendurance did a great job on their sweep). It seems the climb to Rinkhals was the exception.
  19. Yes, its strange - a lot of gels were full!! The litter on Rinkhals earlier today was staggereing. As the landowner put it " I was expecting some litter, but this is just too much!" We acknowledge the lack of bins at the venue and will address, but this needs serious attention. Its an attitude.
  20. Exactly. Access is a delicate issue. Its taken almost 2.5 years for us to negotiate the 51 landowners we now have on board to launch Hakahana Trails. This kind of litter is sure to blow it quickly!!
  21. We already talking to Renosterspruit to create a link
  22. Thanks Zeffer. Its nice to get some positive feedback
