Man I had so much fun.. Maybe too much fun.. Learnt a lot and will probably go back for more to help with muscle memory and so on.. Practice practice practice .. I'll probably have to roll out of bed for day 2.???? Update Day 2 was also a lot of fun.. Learnt a lot in different situations.. Basically introduction to tactical shooting.. .. The one bit we had to puch a punching bag (that the instructor held) for 20 sec to get the heart rate up, draw the firearm, load and shoot on various commands while either moving forward or backward.. So it was things like that. .. 100 rounds with the pistol, a bit with a revolver, then a Beretta self loading rifle (think that's what it is called CX something) and a Pump action shot gun.. The other firearms was just to get a feel for different firearms. I expected the shotgun to put me on my behind but they showed us so nicely how to use it that I didn't get hurt or fall in my behind.

A long ITT tomorrow.. No helpers tomorrow, man against the clock.

Giro doesn't normally have many sprint stages hey. That's one of the reasons why the sprinters leave early.. It's a tough old race.

It means a lot to athletes in certain sporting codes. I saw today after the first round of squad announcements, we have a family member who has been selected (ladies hockey) and man she's worked so so hard to get here all while juggling her studies (medicine ).. So many sacrifices with no support in the form of government funding.. A national team with zero funding.... It means the world to her... She is so so incredibly proud to have been selected... And we are all so very proud of her. And to add she had COVID in Dec and as we've seen with many athletes the recovery was long and it took her a good 2 months to be able to train at the level required...

For sure. I very rarely see clients so I don't have to be near, maybe 3 times in the 2 years that I've been working from home.. But it depends on if he wants that option.. And I also think he is looking to semi retire... I'd of course prefer the option to keep on working for him but if he wants to replace me I want him to have enough time to do so.
