  1. Guys, some guy (farmer Glen) decided to start a race at his own risk/reward etc. Lucky for him a lot of people loved his race cause he put on a GREAT race. Its his race and he can decide the entry rules. Like it or leave it. As long as he's putting on the same GREAT race, loads more people will be liking it rather than leaving it. As in cycling and life, never give up and you'll get in one day.
  2. Been riding mountain bikes for 22 years. Yeti ASR is the best bike I've ever ridden. In fact owned 2 now. Cape Epic and couple San2c's and the bike is perfect...I mean perfect. No issues at all on all the races. Race, Wash, lube, massage, sleep and race again everytime. Oh and I dont twiddle downhill. Colin and Kirk at Morningside will give you brilliant service. My 2 cents worth (okay maybe more than 2 cents for a Yeti but worth every single cent)
  3. Get well soon Flipper!!! This for you is a walk in the park bud...
  4. Wonder what their skinsuites are gonna look like
  5. This has to be the most clever anyone has ever been designing kit. If riders forget their kit at home the manager just needs a black marker to draw the foot on them and they can race again.
  6. Check these out. Some really great pics here http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=184212&id=100000011910952#/photo.php?pid=184212&id=100000011910952&fbid=106617172682013
  7. You are as dumb as the rest that throughout this posting condone this BAD BEHAVIOR with their lame remarks....... including some of our so called highly praised and eminent "peacemakers"!!!!!! SOLID LINE mate SOLID LINE...... !!!!!!!! Hey Big H, well done for pulling over and stopping your car to take this pic. Would hate it if you were illegally using your cellphone and endangering others lives whilst driving
  8. From a ride perspective both very close. I ride the Yeti (and my new one ) and its is out of this world. Never ridden an Ellsworth but hear they are also very good. So we all agree now riding wise probably going to love both, therefore the support issue becomes a deciding factor and for that I can swear by the Yeti support. Colin and Kirk at Morningside WILL look after you and as Gnarly says, if you at a stage race, and you got a Yeti, you got support!!!!!!! VERY VERY important!!! Oh and after 6 stage races I've not needed support yet. Just wash and Lube.....know what I mean!!
  9. Sikes, it can be you are holding on too tight maybe or maybe your levers are facing too high. When you are standing and holding your grips and your brakes your hands and wrists must be in their natural position a much as possible. You must not squeeze your grips like you wanna kill them either. Always try and keep a fairly relaxed grip as much as possible. Try both and you should be fine. If not then get your Doc to check out your fingers cause they shouldn't "Click" ;-)
  10. Ja but please make sure its the Hells Angels and not the Sandton Harley Club!!!
  11. With a lekker hub profile pic like that. Tarm GSTR its gonna be you
