  1. Well done Holy. Maybe you can help me with my posts. Can't seem to brake 400. What is your secret???
  2. I downloaded my software from the polar website. I also downloaded the trial version pro trainer. Korrek? I would like to hear how you guys use your software and units. Do you guys ever use the fitness test on your units?
  3. I think some suunto products have a function where the software can tell you your training progress in fitness. Not sure though, read it on a thread here somewhere.
  4. Hi there fellow cyclists, I have been cycling for about 12 months now. About 5 months ago I bougt the 725x. I got the free polar training software with the unit. What I do after every training session is download the info from unit to pc. I then look at my avg heart rate, distance completed, altitude etc. Is there a function where I can compare a ride from 3 months ago with a recent one? It doesn't feel like I am using the software and the hrm to its full potential, and would like some pointers from you guys as to what you do with your training rides regarding analizing etc. Cheers JoeJoeK2009-08-19 08:28:17
  5. Has any of you guys ever used USN's VO2MAX? I don't know a lot about all the products out there, but just read that epo increases the red blood cells in your blood, which helps oxygen transport. What does these VO2MAX tablets do? What are the chances that some ingredient in these tablets will be illegal in a few years time?
  6. Cyclists shouldn't be stargazing when out cycling. If so uranus will be much nearer than you think... Phil and Paul are legends, and the tdf won't be the same without them. Like rugby with Hugh Bladen. But bringing in a freshy as a third commentator with recent experience will be nice.
  7. Wow. Awesome bike. How many miles have you done on it? What was the cost of building up such a beaut? How much does your frame and wheelset weigh? I might just start to upgrade my bike seeing that yours weigh 6.8 :-)
  8. I am so skinny, I have to drink black coffee to throw a shadow I eat what I want, and will start a running program tomorrow with a mate of mine. He's into the ironman thing, and he swears that running will help with cycling. Will tell you after a month if it works
  9. Noche you've got a pm. Sorry for the hijack. Nice bike astana
  10. Hey Astana, I am in the market for a 2nd hand mtb. Winter training on the road is torture. Would you sell your mtb to a poor currently disadvantaged???
  11. I think a protein shake might help you lose weight if you replace it with a meal, but I don't think any dietition will recomend it, especially if you are active. You need vitamins and all sorts of goodies to build the body that comes with training.
  12. I drink a USN protein shake after a hard workout. I found that it helps with recovery. Just make sure that you don't gain weight. Cyclists doesn't want that extra weight that a shake can give you.
  13. Hy het sy vrou in die pad gesteek. Seker te veel gif ingekry....
