  3. Rob and Bart really make the biggest difference as far the whole production goes! I cringe every time Supersport snag the broadcasting rights!!! Lets see where it goes, really enjoyed the RBTV coverage.
  4. As frustrating as MAF is, it does work, but you need to stick to it for at least 6 months. We are so conditioned to red line our ALL our rides and the one thing I did learn with my MAF training is that it is ok to slow down and enjoy the ride and surroundings. Best is when you are able to climb to the top of Irish in Jonkershoek at a Max HR of 144 and feel super fresh for the downhill.
  5. you obviously had the same feeling as me when I sat on my large from rockhopper.. bought both my and wife's Scalpels from Corne If the bike you are looking at has a Lefty 2.0 I have a 70mm and a 50mm stem available, my wife is on the 50mm stem with the Large frame.
  6. oh yes, my wife is 1.74 and also on a L Scalpel from a M Spez Epic Sooooooooooo......ja
  7. Hi Slowbee I had the exact same situation..M Camber and I'm 1.78 the camber always felt small. On a L Scalpel now and couldn't be happier. I would try and test ride one to be sure, geometries and bike fit are super personal these days.

  9. Thanks Admins!!
  10. RH77 ftw Their kit is seriously next level, even converted my mates from Assos to RH77
  11. @Rouxenator - from what I heard the 78km was the race to do. Plenty of excellent water points and single track. Unlike the 52km..... Promises of MTB heaven in the start chute left me wondering if 90% jeep track and climbs with no fun single track as reward is now considered MTB heaven.... In my humble opinion this race has now grown beyond the point where it is about the riders and the route. Waterpoints with no water, come on Darling Brew....you are better than that!
  12. @esel, can I enter the 3day, but skip the friday night ride? Work commitments don'y allow me to be there early friday.
  13. No worries Ferro, my first 65 also..see you on the left
  14. Anyone know how fixed those "Provisional" starting times are? Not sure how keen I am to start my 42km trek at 9h40
