  1. Trust me, You can thank Eskom this time. You're probably more relaxed by having not watched the cricket.

  3. Submitted on Monday evening, refund is in my account this morning.
  4. Good Point However it was getting interesting, and I for one was looking forward to hearing more about Eddy's mothers cat
  5. Hey OP, did you do this on purpose? Please not another Elixir bashing thread P.S. stay away from anything "shitmano" esp fishing reels and bike parts
  6. I wonder if someone from LiveTime could come and explain the registration and results shambles - what a mess from what I have experienced and can see online? I have never seen results change almost by the hour and then get published to SASeeding as correct when it is still obviously still being sorted out?? I had my issues with Spectrum Sport on occasion, but had good comms with them, and they were accomodating. With these okes, I don't even know where to start??? wtf is going on?
  7. Thanks for the feedback Fritz, and I would be first to congratulate you guys as you do put on some awesome events. Routes, trails, markings etc were 1st class, considering the numbers BUT, if you can get it right at Trailseeker events (with similar numbers) then you should be able to do even better at a national event, From what we experienced: Pros: Good routes awesome trails There are no arguments about the two points above Lekker venue (apart from parking plenty km from the actual race venue - *** idea !!!) Cons Registration was a mission, took for ages. they weren't ready for us also NO goody bags & NO SOCKS Timing & results sucks - not even accurate yet to date & not on SASeeding yet ?? water a problem as highlighted & addressed congestion at the final km's I'm sure the okes will add more, Cmon Fritz, I know you guys can do better! apart from the actual routes, you did it better with the final trailseekers last year even!
  8. Yup, the posted results, even though preliminary look like a complete dog's breakfast, I hope that if these guys are going to be doing Advendurance events timing going forward that this is not the standard to be set? Looks to me to be a huge leap backwards?? Guys please prove me wrong!
  9. Looks like this is more or less the forecast then, I don't think I have ever been so happy to be so wrong about something, Ever!! With only two weeks between Dullies & Sabie, too much mud could be a bike killer, my wallet will settle for no dust & no mud at both events
  10. Gonna be a muddy one by the looks of the weather reports?
  11. We live not far from Avianto in the Swartkop / Lammermoor area on a fair size smallholding. No matter how many times we replace / repair the fences in the fields, the locals cut them to use the land as a short-cut to main access routes and to cross the river etc.Short of putting up an electric fence & having 24 hr guards on-site we can't really stop this, & obviously the cops do nothing about the trespassers anyway. By and large however the traffic is harmless and understandable & is also on currently unused land, so not too much of an issue. We then also do get quite a few weekend warriors using these routes as some nice singletrack etc, and even though they're trespassing, being that it is not marked, and if they not making a nuisance of themselves, we don't mind too much as they are "just passing through". However a month or two back, I'm in MY garden (not the fields) with the kids and a group of 5 of these guys come riding through, they then turn up my driveway (some good jeep track btw) & pass my garden. So I ask innocently, "are you guys aware that this is private land?" the response I get & in front of the kids is "F&*k You" & a few other choice words. and they carry on their way WTF?? My point is that the average biker (& human being for that matter) is generally a nice guy and will abide by the rules and "codes" (written or not), but because of A%$&holes like these that I experienced I felt like being hard-arsed and putting extreme measures in place etc. etc. however this would not really benefit anyone, so I have treated this as an isolated incident and hope it doesn't happen again. Richard, on the other hand, your trails are clearly marked, & you guys have put in a lot of work to create an awesome venue, and there should be no excuse for trespassing, the type of guys as those I have described above will eventually spoil it for all, and if left unchecked the landowners will get gatvol, as will your staff. I fully advocate the harshest measures possible against anyone who does not have the common decency to pay for and appreciate something that is not theirs, but has been created for their use! The current general overwhelming sense of entitlement in this country, is currently overwhelming!!
  12. My son logs on with his username on his phone & starts Endo, I then log on with the same login details on my pc or phone, click on training, and there is the live tracking, used it this weekend at the USN race. It updates every minute or so, I think if you get premium you can set the update interval to less if needed.
  13. We use Endomondo currently, I'm sure you guys will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it is the only app in which the free version has live tracking, can track my youngsters training rides & progress during races, works pretty well for a free version
  14. Hey Warren Some very cool pics there, maybe your good lady should consider a career in action photography (If not doing so already)
  15. Condolences to you and your family Anton, our thoughts are with you. And to your brother in law, RIP
