  1. Trust me, You can thank Eskom this time. You're probably more relaxed by having not watched the cricket.

  4. Nah no farming just prefer to come home to space, peace & quiet after the daily grind / traffic etc. Not a huge place but just enough to have to phone your neighbour if you want to speak to them Sorry OP - Hijack Off!
  5. Just got the same one now when opening this thread
  6. Pam, - stay off my Lawn ! Seriously tho we have sh1teloads of open veld so no probs if the okes wanna mtb through, we just expect some general respect - no littering, no noise and NO RIDING ON MY LAWN DAMMIT! DIPS, sorry for the caps Lock
  7. Or even riding through your lawn (as has happened to me - yip I live in the cradle!
  8. Nickc, If I've told you once, I've told you a million times - don't exaggerate those tyres are good for only14999 km's not a km more!!
  9. Hey Nickc http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDYwMA==/z/F3YAAOSwBLlVFyfM/$_20.JPG Have you thought of trying these out yet?? - not sure if they come in 29", but Just saying
  10. Good Point However it was getting interesting, and I for one was looking forward to hearing more about Eddy's mothers cat
  11. Hey OP, did you do this on purpose? Please not another Elixir bashing thread P.S. stay away from anything "shitmano" esp fishing reels and bike parts
  12. I wonder if someone from LiveTime could come and explain the registration and results shambles - what a mess from what I have experienced and can see online? I have never seen results change almost by the hour and then get published to SASeeding as correct when it is still obviously still being sorted out?? I had my issues with Spectrum Sport on occasion, but had good comms with them, and they were accomodating. With these okes, I don't even know where to start??? wtf is going on?
  13. Thanks for the feedback Fritz, and I would be first to congratulate you guys as you do put on some awesome events. Routes, trails, markings etc were 1st class, considering the numbers BUT, if you can get it right at Trailseeker events (with similar numbers) then you should be able to do even better at a national event, From what we experienced: Pros: Good routes awesome trails There are no arguments about the two points above Lekker venue (apart from parking plenty km from the actual race venue - *** idea !!!) Cons Registration was a mission, took for ages. they weren't ready for us also NO goody bags & NO SOCKS Timing & results sucks - not even accurate yet to date & not on SASeeding yet ?? water a problem as highlighted & addressed congestion at the final km's I'm sure the okes will add more, Cmon Fritz, I know you guys can do better! apart from the actual routes, you did it better with the final trailseekers last year even!
  14. Yup, the posted results, even though preliminary look like a complete dog's breakfast, I hope that if these guys are going to be doing Advendurance events timing going forward that this is not the standard to be set? Looks to me to be a huge leap backwards?? Guys please prove me wrong!
