The convenience of being able to browse bike components while doing other mundane things, like working, is too great to live without. Not to mention the fact that you don't have to settle with what your LBS has to offer, but can choose from a vastly greater selection of products.   4. The Absa Cape Epic, the Untamed African Mountain Bike Race, will match the Ladies prize purse to the Men’s prize purse in 2014. The Absa Cape Epic is already the largest total prize purse in the world for mountain biking and the increase to R690 000 ($68 048) for the Ladies purse now takes the race’s total prize purse for all categories to R1 564 000 ($154 241).   8. It was fitting that Ashleigh Moolman Pasio won the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge on Sunday. It marked the final race for the Momentum Toyota team which she raced on for all five years of its existence.   9. The opening stage of the Tour of Rwanda got underway with a 3.5 kilometre prologue. The race started and finished at the Kigali sports stadium and was supported by thousands of people on the roadside. What started as a small series with a couple of hundred participants in 2002 is now the biggest national mountain bike series in the world with tens of thousands of participants.   20. ORICA-GreenEDGE is thrilled to announce that Daryl Impey has rejoined the team on a three year contract. The first South African to wear the yellow jersey has flourished during his two year tenure with the Australian outfit. In 2012, Impey earned his first WorldTour win, made his Grand Tour debut at the Giro d’Italia and solidified his position as one of the world’s best lead-out riders.
