  4. I live, work, cycle and drive in London. I am surprised there are not more deaths on the roads as the cyclists here are a law unto them selves! Cyclists have little respect cars here!!!! I compare cycling in London to a rider at South Africa's weekend worrier world champs trying to break their personal best.

  13. Maybe i can help. 2 years ago i packed up my every thing in S.A and moved to the U.K to follow a dream of mine. 2 years have passed with many cuts and burns and i now feel i can call myself a frame builder. I would suggest contacting Peter from Ceeway for this beginners kit http://www.framebuil...partsbundle.htm. A lugged frame is far easier to start with than a fillet brazed or TIG welded frame. If any of you want to take it further and make a frame at home i am happy to help you through the process (virtually)
  14. Stainless is a lovely ride, stiff , snappy and it still has the zing of mild steel. I reckon full polished Stainless is a bit chincy though
  15. Ride was great. Only got going at 10ish with no ice or frost in sight. Did a chilled 4hours, it was a beautiful day for riding except around Beachy Head where i got slammed with an icy wind.

  20. The frame is a bit "Porky'?But it sounds like a good mixNow order yourself one of the new 999 cassettes from sram. 175 gramsdue here end Marchcan drop 100 gr in one quick move.Approx R2k I agree the frame is heavy, I was expecting it to be lighter. She rides like a dream even though it is a touch on the heavy side. I will never spend 2K on a cassette, as i replace them to often. The same goes for chains
