  1. This is happening and will happen again because we are not reacting. We simply accept this as the norm and look for ways to protect ourselves instead of tackling it head on
  2. Really enjoyed the event and thumbs up to Engen. Whilst I understand some wanting timing, I think that correct finishing position would be more important. Regarding this, as a suggestion, a continous chute after the finish line should be set up in a way that it eventually narrows down to a single bike width. Here your number can be manually taken down in the order in which you finished. The riders themselves will sort out and correctly position themselves in order of finish.
  3. awesome - knew you would find it - will be on the lookout and hopefully see soon - think the rest of the car could do with some panelbeating - with a ten pound hammer
  4. typical - please keep us posted - you will definitely be able to track these guys
  5. Hey speedi - good to hear from you. PM sometime. Glad you are settled
  6. Good luck guys - Shane we are proud of you
  7. Is that the new Scott cz its nt the same 1 Highroad used at TDF this year?
  8. Big Front chainring must be a 52 tooth or smaller - nothing bigger. The rear cassettes smallest sprocket must be an 18 tooth. In other words when you have the chain on the biggest front chain ring and smallest sprocket at the back, roll the bike backwards making one full revolutuion of the crank. Measure from the start to end point. This must be no longer than 6.227m. This reffered to as the roll in for under 12 gearing. hope this helps you
  9. I have a set of EA 70's and have broken a drive side spoke. However not at the start of the thread, but about 30mm from the nipple. Also have a set of EA 90's and broken a front spoke at the start of the thread. Have noticed that the nipples crumble when attemting to true the wheel. Could this be oxidation between the two metals(spoke and nipple) Know of at least 3 other similar cases where drive side spokes on the EA 90's have broken.
