  1. Who knew, trail runners run the berms!
  2. Honestly, I would me more worried about the oak trying to mug him, Anton is a Dan in karate... and an active one at that.
  3. Yup, but kinda bored with it. Not much happens when you reach Guru, other than you can start challenges and there are plenty of those and I dont have time to manage that. Great way to improve and learn "what sells". But I would only have about 10 of those photos in my actual portfolio today.
  4. The Sony looks good off the bat but you might want to expand a little on what you intend on doing. Video? Fast Action? Shooting in low light, etc? The Sony has 16fps vs 9fps on the Canon, great for fast action. Sony is lighter, better battery life, has a F1.8 apparture vs the 2.8 on the Canon 4k video which the Canon does not have. But... ek Sony die Canon net afskryf nie. The Canon does have a bigger sensor with higher ISO capabilities, 49 focal points vs 29, touch screen and has environmental sealing. The Sony can be used in "tough conditions", not sure if that's the same as environmental sealing. Whenever I get stuck with gear comparisons, this is my go-to site: https://cameradecision.com/compare/Sony-Cyber-shot-DSC-RX100-IV-vs-Canon-PowerShot-G1-X-Mark-III
  5. Anyway... back to pichas Our very own Arc de Triomphe
  6. The 85mm is Sold... and I have a new beast in my bag!
  7. Happy Birthday Wyatt Earp! Although no longer a member of the hub, he is very active in the photography community. Attended a talk about his work earlier this week... and compared to the first photo posted in this thread... WoW man! Fantastic job and well done!
  8. I hate it when people do this: No, I dont... but I do have a 85mm F1.4G for sale Oh and it is Nikon by the way!
  9. Probably not a bad day out on the bike either way, the website mentions R100k worth of prizes
  10. Nikon Z6 Using the F to Z adapter meant I could use all my existing Nikon and Sigma lenses. Shot here with the Nikon 85mm f1.4
  11. Got to test drive the new Nikon Z6 on a couple of shoots, it was fun! This was shot with the Nikon Z 24-70mm f4 @ 24mm ... which as ok. Much prefered shooting with my Sigma 35mm Art f1.4, which worked like a bomb using the F to Z adapter.
  12. Yup, here: Trail Run MTB Day 1 MTB Day 2
  13. Thanks bud! I am just battling a little bit to get the mobile version dialed in 100%, its a little more tricky!
  14. 99.9% of my work gets done on Adobe Lightroom. For a quick edit on the phone I like Snapseed, free in Google store (I also have the S8)
  15. Timing... is the Audi traveling sideways?
  16. The beauty of lens compression. These two shots were taken without moving my feet 35mm and 300mm
  17. Whipit ... it's Friday!
  18. Just two dudes, hanging out ...
  19. Managed to squeeze in an engagement shoot (in between all the mountainbiking) while in CT this past weekend. When in CT ... you have to get that mountain in the shot!
  20. Just because your hubby is the man who started this thread ... I will go! Oh and he takes awesome shots of JHB ... that too!
  21. Thanks Frosty, did not know about that feature ... Big Brother is Always watching!
  22. Hi Guys and Gals I spent the last couple of days updating my website! Anyone feel like taking it for a spin and providing some feedback. Just need to know that all the links and spelling, etc ... is working! www.henkneuhoff.com Much appreciated!
  23. Thank you! I think I shot at 1/60th of a second there. Elbows in, steady as can be, swinging from the hips! I have to agree with you there. With frozen rotors or props, it just looks like the plane or helicopter is falling out of the sky!
