I've been racing the National circuit for 15 years and the East London track is truly the best track in the country. Potters pass is a fast sweep taken at over 230 while some classes go through rifle bend at over 260. When some of the British Touring car stars raced here in the 90's they were blown away by the track and some even said it was madness as the speeds scared them! The race there is a highlight every year and with 2 circuit Nationals, One motard and a National bike day it brings in about 5000 poeple per annum including families, crew and competitors. These people stay for three days at a time and need to sleep eat and spend their money which is a huge boost to the local economy. Plus the National cycle races and new car launches that use the track's facilities. Come on guys ....this is honestly the best track EVER!!! Sign that petition!!!
