I wouldn't complain about people doing that on olx or gumtree, so I don't think I can complain about people doing it on the classifieds here. In the days of old, when the classifieds was a place for "thehub" community to buy, sell and exchange stuff with each other, it would irk me because it would feel like screwing a community member who would give you a good deal if they were making the sale or if they could help you. But in the new bikehub ecosystem that we live in, admin has been clear that the classifieds are a priority, and the forums (where a lot of the "community" vibes happen) is secondary. And then also removed the comments on the classifieds and shut down any topic that they don't like even when the community disagrees or protests. So in my mind, the classifieds might as well be gumtree with extra cycling filters.

Looking at the overhead, it looks like Caleb was moving up and as Merlier stood up to start his sprint, he touched Caleb's wheel behind him, which can easily happen when you go from sitting to standing, and the rest is history. Sagan was just an innocent bystander as you can clearly see the gap between him and Caleb before the crash. Caleb looked like he had the speed though, so I reckon he would have won if they all got to the line. Instead he's out with a broken collarbone

After today, I think I'm gonna start watching a less violent sport.... like cage fighting....

I'm not an expert, and don't know all the rules, but I think shoulder to shoulder contact is legal, and somewhat normal when fighting for wheels. Sagan isn't the only one bumping around in sprints. What is illegal is headbutting, which Caleb has been guilty of more than once. But the Caleb-Sagan crash looked like it was caused by Caleb putting his front wheel on the wrong side of Merlier's back wheel, touching Merlier's wheel and loosing his front wheel and then crashing into Sagan. I really don't think there was any fowl play.

Not sure thats really the "worst thing" after watching the carnage of the last 10km

Ineos has let the road decide who their leader is... As in, whoever hasn't hit the road is the leader....

Looking forward to some mountain stages just so I don't have to watch so much carnage in the last kilometers.
