@wyatt hands are going numb from the pressure on the lower external side of the palm, this numbness moves to the fingers and I cant even feel my thumb when I need to changes gears. @Richard29 Yip it becomes an expensive exercise changing parts. I think core strength is the way forward

@jadeg I haven't tried transferring my weight back I'm assuming I would do this my moving seat further back or having a more laid back seat post angle ?

Hi All, I have this problem where after riding for about 45 min to an 1hr my hands start going numb. I have had a pro bike fit done, so from a setup point of view I'm ok. I have tried different stem lengths angles, different gloves, no gloves, bar widths and now finally I have bought a set of those ergo grips I hope this will help ? I'm even tempted to try riser bars maybe this will eliminate the pressure and weight onto my hands ? Some 1st hand experience and input would greatly be appreciated.

you can go to any nut and bolt shop. maybe get yourself a set of stainless steel bolts they a lot stronger don't rust but a little heavier

Sad to hear but well done on using your phone as a tracking device. clearly this guy planned everything even to have a spare set of cloths this means this guys has been plotting this move for a while. Hopefully he stays away and doesnt come back and come across more aggressive next time he tries this stunt. Sho Divernick where did you manage to pic al those old frames up ? Are they complete with BB and cranks ? I'm done building SS road bikes .I built 2 and I never ride them its sometimes gets pretty expensive building them up and works out cheaper buying them build up already. I'm selling my Blue Fuji track bike I build up if anyone is keen check under the classified section.

@ Notso big ben - thanks I really enj putting this bike together looks like I'm going to ride my SS MTB more than the SS road bikes I have build. @Blitzer - to be honest I don't see the purpose of going rigid fork as this is a MTB bike (don't mean to offend the guys with rigid forks ) I took the bike through its paces on Fri Nights CM ride. Bike I very smooth great ratio to start off with (32T-18T) the only problem is that its a little hard to wheelie the bugger What I did pic up is that I think I didn't tighten the headset tight enough so I had a little bit of a shudder under braking. I tightened the head set yesterday seems to be ok but I haven't really ridden it long enough to ensure the shudder is gone. Cant wait to try it down the spruit I might even use this bike to commute to work and back good training for when I have a gears

WoW BBN those bikes look awesome !!! I've just finished building my Jamis Exile Comp as a SS. I upgraded my current bike to a carbon Jamis. Going to put it through its paces in tonight's CM.
