  1. Jabu is the shizniz!
  2. Much better than Heia in terms of route. Two tough climbs on the bike. Managed 20mims quicker than my Heia time.
  3. I have a wider foot too, so this is good to hear. Size 44 in Specialized and Shimano. Would this translate across?
  4. Anyone else have a review or experience to offer on Suplest?
  5. Agreed. Remove the pic.
  6. So last night I slipped up and smashed a lemon curd tart in my face. It was awesome. However, very interesting to notice that I immediately developed stomach cramps, felt rubbish during my swim this morning and somehow managed to put on a kilogram... Carbs...they are evil little buggers. Pastry is awesome though.
  7. Yesterday arvie when I hopped on the trainer, I noticed something that freaked me out somewhat. My bike seems to be at a slight angle to the left. That aside, the saddle does not sit above the rear wheel...is this remotely possible/normal? It's carbon.
  8. Will this be available on Kindle? Or can one buy off Amazon for kindle?
  9. Has anyone experienced an odd bitter/bad taste sensation after a prolonged LCHF diet? For the last three days, no matter what I eat or drink, it tastes crap.
  10. I know there used to be a problem with the autosync between the Ambit 2 and Training Peaks. Has this been resolved?
  11. Any word yet on the photographer? Quite keen to see what I look like when dying.
  12. Anyone know who the official photographer was?
  13. I think I ended up being faster on the runs. I just couldn't find my rhythm on the bike and really had to grind out a finish. A great event with heaps of potential. Would like to see a flatter race in the series...
  14. I think it's got potential. But there are heaps of issues. The waterproof HR - I've heard of numerous instances where it is not as waterproof as it is made out to be. Battery life - unpredictable and poor at best. Sometimes manages five hours, sometimes runs out after three. As said before, I've had two faulty devices...there is a quality control issue too. If you're not doing a triathlon, but simply want a watch to switch between running and cycling, then maybe. 910XT is a far superior product. Not much of a comparison.
  15. Set this up yesterday. Intervals on the left, le tour on the right...le cat on the windowsill.
  16. There are clearly still big teething problems. Wait until they have released the second or third edition. I've had two faulty devices in a row and have finally managed to organise a refund.
  17. I had to give myself a little talking to. HTFU...I said. At least finish!
  18. That was proper tough. Or maybe it's just me... 2h57 according to my watch.
  19. It's going to be my first multi-sport event. So if you see a guy in the transition area, wide eyed and confused, say hi.
  20. Who else has entered?
  21. Awesome. I'll get onto the settings.
  22. Thanks bud. I'm just looking to upload without exporting the workout first. I'm using a desktop...not a tablet.
  23. Ello Can one link these two training programmes?
  24. I did the two day course this weekend and found it incredibly beneficial. If you're a novice swimmer and need some tools to give you confidence and a stroke, go for it. I can't compare it to any other kind of training, as I haven't had any. Prior to this weekend, my swimming was equivalent to a large 1970s television. Poor.
  25. Anyone doing the Joburg course this weekend?
