Photography as a whole is a low margin business with many fly by nighters under cutting the true professionals. Danger Dassie is right, equipment is insanely expensive and needs to be updated every year (year and a half). These guys definately aren't ripping us off. It's unfortunately the price needed for them to make a profit.

Used the Protein gel. Great taste! Great effect. Brought me home on Sunday.

Felt have come back to me and are going to sort things out! credit to them and thanks to Clive and Clint.

Mud Dee, careful what you say. Phoned a couple bike shops first and they didn't have a clue. I'm not looking for something to moan about so keep your attitude to yourself. I called Felt as a VERY interested buyer and grateful for the idea but the service was poor. Still no response. You'd think as the importer they'd still take the time to treat potential clients as such, irrespective of who i should or shouldn't be calling.

Ok...so what's the deal with these Eastern Cape based lads? It's in black and white in the latest Ride mag that Felt is offering bike finance in association with a finance company. Emailed Felt to see what it's about and get the details.... emailed Felt again.... Bugger it, phoned Felt.... "Hi can you tell me more about the finance deal?" "um...what finance deal?" "The one in Ride magazine." "um...that's in its planning stages." "But it's advertised." "oh...well maybe the Marketing Manager knows more." "Maybe. Can I speak to him?" "He's not here." "Please ask him to call me...here's my number." "Sure." ...... Decided to call Felt again.... no joy. Is this the norm from this brand? thanks chucky. think i'll be sticking to the energy drink with caffeine and maybe keep the caffeine gels to a minimum. Suspect it may also be a case of build up. as a journalist, i live on coffee and cigarettes. i know it's bad...but i wouldn't be a good journalist if i didn't...now would I?

mmm...ok, so keep an eye on the caffeine methinks.

What is the limit of caffeine/kg body weight. I did a ride on Sunday with a caffeine sports drink in my camelpack and a couple of gels containing caffeine and i felt particularly shaky after.
