Taken from the Big Picture (Boston Globe). Kinda ridiculous out of context.

  4. It would be awesome if some real action could be taken. The major problem (relating to HR's comment) is that the taxi industry currently transports the majority of our workforce. If they strike, our economy is genuinely effected. It's a simple matter. So we need some innovative thinking. Maybe going to the top with legal action would be a start. Who knows. If there's somewhere to sign...let me know.
  5. MSC?
  6. i agree with samma
  7. I think that's definately a more appropriate way to make Car stand up and take notice. But not with returned, irreverant banter.
  8. Our reaction to the CarToday thread has done more harm than good. I am busy trying to get sponsorship money out of motor manufacturers for cycle safety, however, with the attitude flying backwards and forwards it's going to be tricky as they too keep abreast of these threads. It is imperative that we understand this is not an 'us vs them' battle but rather a real problem that needs mature debate and solutions. Come on guys, whether or not some petrol head insults you or worse yet, threatens you, maintain your pride and keep your nose clean.
  9. OK. where's the best spot to get the Pepto Pro before Argus?
  10. Sorry to hear about this. I hope they catch the d$ckhead responsible. The_Break...take a break from the Hub. Now. And don't come back.

  16. Raleigh and Linden Cycles are on the task already of sorting out the situation. Thus far, they've been nothing but amazing. I'll keep you posted as to the outcome but not saying anything until I have a concrete answer. Gnarly...I'm a large lad. 90.
  17. RM 8.0/9.0/LTD are all full carbon. This is the RM 6.0. Along with RM 7.0 it has an alu frame with carbon rear stays. Just concerned of getting the same bike now in case this is a regular occurence. Obviously the join between the alu and carbon is not fantastic.
  18. Thanks Zaskar. Yup, was cruising down a steep little hill at the time. Somehow managed to land on the crank and get my feet out before serious stitches time. phew...
  19. Anyone ever have a similar problem with the raleigh carbon rear stays. Not sure how i managed to not hurt myself badly!
