I'm not an Alonso fan either but... you did notice that Fernando was driving a Renault and not a McLaren this season. You do know that it is estimated the Reno engine is between 40 and 60hp down on the silver cars? He's actually had an excellent year and made far less mistakes than Massa or Lewis. slick, agreed, but who is Champion now? Yes, Hamilton has a lot of 'growing up' to do and has made some really stupid mistakes this year, but the fact is that he (Alonso) winged like a girl and no matter what team or car he was driving, Lewis was still better. Alonso did come back strongly the last 3 races so next season will be interesting!

The most exciting nail biting conclusion to a season!! Congrats to Lewis!! I have to say again that I was a huge Alonso fan until he cried like a baby when he was at McLaren. He cried foul yet he could not match Hamilton this year so all the b!tching & moaning was really the fact that Hamilton was the better driver than him. Thanks Timo!!!
