  1. I gave recently gone from a GT carbon hardtail to a Pyga Oneten29, and certainly the Pyga is heavier but a lot more fun to ride. I may never be in it to win races but the increase in the enjoyment factor, leaves me with a way bigger smile on my face. Just my 2cents.
  2. Hi Myles, Awesome news as this is 5km from home. Can't wait to get back on the trails? Do you know who would best to contact in order to confirm whether the trails will be open? Cheers
  3. I run 40/22 chainrings and have had no issues with shifting between the two.

  8. It's not new, but you gotta love the mat carbone finish!
  9. I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday. I advertised my bike on gumtree and was contacted by 'Chisa Philips' who lives in George, but has a cousin at UWC. He wanted me to take the bike out there and I said not a chance. He said his cousin would come to me and collect the bike, he would do an EFT at the same time. I told him that it was a cash deal, and he got all stroppy and vol ***. Told I told him politely the deal was off. Hope this helps someone
  10. Try a good chiro or physio who'll loosen up the forearm muscles, that combined with a forearm strap and lots of rest. Surgery is not really a option, spoke to an orthopedic surgeon who has stopped doing the op because of its very low success rate.
  11. Go check them out, David and Justin are really lekka guys. You definitely don't feel like a you're doing them a favour when you go into their shop, like so many other LBS I've been to.
  12. Got my spez stumpie and it's awesome, rides like a machine! Super stoked!!
  13. There are so many threads about poor service from LBS. I recently bought a bike from them and there service has been top class. If you're looking for top service give them a shout.
  14. Can anyone tell me how rideable Toaki forrest is at the moment, just got new bike and gagging for a spin. Don't want to do any damage to the bike or the trails tho.
  15. Check out thegearchange.co.za, Justin and David are pretty cool guys
