  1. I am 1.83, on a large stage max. Running the Rapide 780mm bar and 70mm stem. Feels awesome! But I have long arms, like a circus monkey
  2. Having a bit more travel will only make it that more fun on the downhill bits... Also, won't hurt climbing that much. I was riding with an oke on a Santa Cruz who went on about how his bike "climbs a lot better than the PYGA"...so I blasted past him on the climb back up from the Cobra at Hoogekraal and Contermanskloof
  3. Fully built up! Stoked!
  4. So here is the first pic...build should be done today!
  5. Saw your one there too this afternoon!
  6. Yup...bit of Frankensteining going on until I can upgrade the wheels and a couple of other small parts. Would love a pair of Pyga Trail wide wheels
  7. Revolution Cycles
  8. My Stage Max is being built this week!! No pictures yet...have to get to the bike shop. Can't freakin' wait!
  9. Hi all! Don't know it there will be any entries left...but would like to do it. Just don't know if I can do this and also Xterra (full) the weekend after
  10. Was looking forward to this race, but can't shake this damn flu!! HR spiked seriously on Sunday at Hoogekraal, so going to sit this one out! Enjoy it!!!
  11. Hey! Well done on entering your first triathlon! During the race I never look at my HR, because then I would probably just stop... I would suggest to only glance at it every now and then, but it is more about how you feel. If you feel you are struggling take it easy. No need to hurt yourself, unless you are aiming for a podium finish... I have a Suunto Ambit. All I did was to set-up 3 different screens for the Tri: 1 for swimming, 1 for bike and 1 for running - each having the views I prefer when doing these individual legs. I then used the "Lap" function when I entered transition and when I exited transition. I also switched to the different screen view on my way out. That way you can see your times afterward for the different legs (or laps). Just remember to enjoy it!!
