Jeez, I didn't even know that Justin Wilson had been killed - wow, that is hugely sad. The year he raced F1 is the year I started watching it & for some reason he was my favourite driver (overtaken by Kimi shortly afterwards). He always seemed like such a nice person whenever they interviewed him & every race I had a laugh watching him squeeze himself into the car. And if I remember correctly, he was actually sponsored by private people to drive? So sad. Do we know why Max was told to swap places with his team mate yet? And whatever the reason was - I like him 100 times more for flat out refusing (I know you have to obey the team orders - but I still like that he didn't).

OH NOOOOOO!!!! Of ALL the dogs in the world.....it had to be a St Bernard. The one dog you are desperate for Tumbles But no - you cant have her, especially not if you are thinking of moving away. I love Ruby - she is absolutely gorgeous Pikey are you sure she wouldn't be ok staying in the smaller garden? I don't think they're particularly active dogs are they? Maybe you could walk her everyday for a bit of exercise? Its heartbreaking to think of her missing her family.

Oh nooooo!! I only saw this now Tumbles. How is he? How horrendous for you. Having a crazy dog hating neighbor is my worst fear - especially with my lot when they get howling. Thankfully my neighbours love them - especially Molly - sometimes they just come round to visit her!

Poor Ranger...he looks like a hunting trophy (with a cool collar!) Da Vinci - sorry about your kitty, but glad there is something you can do.

wow wow wow!!!! Now thats an artist on another level.

We do the same trip every dec. Same dogs as you & two cats as well. My honest advice is just to get it over & done with - dont stop overnight. Trip wont take you more than 11 hours with stops. Cats can sleep for 11 hours a day no problem. Mine will not drink or eat the entire trip. The dogs will have some water if we're lucky at one of the stops - otherwise they just sleep & cuddle up to eat other (dogs & cats - one big pile of fur). Put a litter tray in the car where the cat can find it if he needs to, but I wouldnt upset him by trying to make him get out of the car. Its really not a big deal. The cats sometimes like to sleep between us on the handbrake with a coat or something. They like the AC. Once you're out on the open road the cat will calm down & go to sleep. Makes me so sad. The thought of splitting up a family so obviously loved is heartbreaking. Same with Wayne's fam. Although Scar the gooftrooper has found his soul mate Ghost, so he had a happy ending. If you'd posted the Rottie last week I would've had a home for her, but another doggy lucked out. Will keep my ears & eyes open for you. For the Dane, try GD rescue on FB?

Heartfelt condolences to Tuna Riaan & his wife Thea on the loss of their beautiful boy Rocky this weekend. Never could a rescue dog have asked for a better home to live out his time in. Birthday parties, walks, photo shoots & lots of love. May Rocky rest in peace with all the other souls we've lost.

Us????? Nooooo.....we did nonething Tumbles I laugh every time I see that face - Scar is too funny. I love that this unlikely pair are besties.

Thanks LOOK, although I cant really take the credit except for at the beginning after Ian had been, the day the muzzle came off until now is all her. There is something very special about this dog - I wish I could understand it & explain it better, but I cant - she is just special. I think Tumbles would understand - some dogs are just extra special. Its like she shows all her happiness outside her body - when she runs in the park, its like she is running from pure happiness & joy - she bounds up to people & dogs & I sometimes cringe because from her size & strength she is quite intimidating, but everyone just adores her. I have countless people stop & ask me about her & tell me how beautiful she is You would somehow expect that from most dogs who have been loved from puppies - but it makes her even more special that she was abused & neglected & STILL has so much happiness inside of her. Plus she has a great guarding instinct & a crazy fierce bark. She really added something to our family & we absolutely adore her!

So for those of you who remember Miss Molly's biggest problem when she moved from the SPCA to us a few months ago - here is an update on how things have changed For 3 weeks she was intent on doing one thing with cats - eating them. Thanks to Ian J who came & worked with her a bit & then slowly slowly we got her used to them & the final step was her interacting with them wearing a soft muzzle. To all those who had faith - you were right!!! Final stage of training. She wants to eat that cat SO badly! And now... Whats up my homie? S'up dawg? Come here doggie - you iz very dirty...I clean you. Ok, thats enough...now go to shweep please.

So sorry about your brother Tumbles - very sad. Im glad you have Ghost & the crew to give you cuddles.
