There are no stupid questions on here, remember? Would you believe I was just thinking of you today & wondering the same as Uni? Don't things in the business world normally only get up to speed in the next few weeks? Are you at least riding if you not Hubbing?

Ja Maxxis, I have seen you out riding & you are pretty considerate - one of the few times I couldnt get to my dog to hold him off the track in Delta when I saw a cyclist coming, happened to be in front of you - and yes he walked right in front of you & you were really nice about it & were going slow enough to avoid him. I was really embarrassed by it, as I always make a point of checking where my two are if i see cyclists coming & if they are too close to the track, I grab their collars & just hold them till the guys/girls are past us. I have never had a bad experience with a cyclist in Delta or down the spruit, probably because i try to be aware that they are there for everyone to use & they are two of the things I love most about where i live. Its a great feeling walking or riding through there & seeing everyone smile & greet each other & just chat to people they dont know.

Can I just wish everyone on our happy, no fighting thread a very, very good New Year? I have had a wonderful end to a hard year, and I feel like I owe thanks to this funny thread for a lot of my happiness - I bet Ageros had no idea how many smiles would come from such a seemingly silly idea for a thread? Those in the know...are well in the know?!! So can I just say thanks for the laughs in 2013 guys & girls?

LOL, bassets are special fur babies. Mine don't like being separated either. They will howl for a while - both of them...that's just what bassets do! Best thing is to keep a human with each basset for a while & just give them love to distract them. They will give you their very best sad basset face until they are back together. If they like rawhide bones, give the big brother one to keep him busy at home, hopefully it will distract him from howling & annoying the neighbours. Unfortunately the little one will be howling all the way to the vet & will probably set off all the other doggies in the hospital as well. On the up side, the vet will be eager to shut him up & will probably do his op first! Ask your vet if its Ok to give him a herbal calming tablet/drops before you take him, it may help. Take a photo of the sad faces for us!!

Yip my 2 also dont like the sea...I think its the waves that freaks them out, because they are fine with jumping in lakes & rivers to swim. They are getting ready for their annual xmas beach holiday to PE next week.

Ummm...do I need to start writting these names down Tumbles? Is there going to be a pop-stalker quiz at some point? All i can remember so far is Biscuit Need to go do some homework.... Its like The Hub version of Snow White & The Seven Dwarves....Tumbles & the 10 grandkids!!

May I propose that this should be the theme for this year's "questions only" Hub christmas party at Tumble's bowling club? We can lure MONS out of hiding in Pta with Bama's babies...who can resist a little pre-christmas puppy breath? Uni, aren't you in that neck of the woods anyway? And Im sure I remember even Swiss Van saying he would be in SA around then? Our only mission is to decide which drink goes best with smarties??? And may I add that nobody should bring any dead relative's ashes along?

Busted....? Isnt it best to be gender neutral on our nonsensical but friendly little thread? Doesn't it enable us to avoid things like what happened on the driving slowly thread? Isnt is a good job that Smarties are not too sensitive to colour grouping or preferences?!
