  11. I've been through two specialized bibs in the space of two weeks, both deciding they don't want to be bibs anymore after one ride and letting their chamios stitching unravel. I've managed to get my money back but haven't found another brand of bib that feels good and suits my pocket. Any suggestions I may be missing in the R1600 and under price range?
  12. I got the feeling the guy thought I wasn't being honest or something, i'll give it its two days and then start raising hell
  13. Haha no that would be rather strange
  14. I just took it in, apparently it has to go back to specialized first...so now I sit with nothing Just hope this gets sorted out before the weekend
  15. Bought a new pair of bib shorts last week, one ride later and a section of the seam holding the chamios (both inside and out) seem to have come apart and is unthreading itself. Is this a random defect or is it going to happen again if I get a new pair?
  16. Does anyone know the elevation gain for the 60km route, the website isn't too helpful
  17. Found a Ryder toolkit bottle filled with lots of goodies Found the bottle on the mast climb at Contermanskloof
  18. I'm guessing you have something else that uses the HRM too? Does that show any reading? If not it sounds like the HRM (I had the same problem), just take the strap back to garmin and they'll swap it out seeing as its still withing the warrantee period
  19. I'm having the exact same problem, bike shop keeps sayings its the bb but to no prevail. Grego, when you refer to suspension bearings, i'm assuming this is only for dual sus bikes?
  20. Had a similar problem with my monitor, would get an initial reading and then the reading would die/dissaprear entirely. Went to navworld and they replaced the strap (was still under guarantee) and haven't had any problems since
  21. Any idea how many people are in each group? Or how may groups their are?
  22. Thanks guys, will get it done
  23. This may be a stupid question but isn't oxidisation = rust
  24. It's not too big but knowing it's there is the painful part
  25. My bike wasn't tied securely onto my bike rack over the weekend and in the process of coming loose, had a big chunk of paint removed from it as a result of hitting one of the other bikes on the rack. It's an butted 6061 allaminium frame with a sort of matt finish (not glossed) I want to know how to treat this? I'd preferably like e to pack it up but I need to know if there are any risks of rust or possible weakness and also whether I can do this myself or is it better to get someone else to do it? Thanks
