I need to understand how the 4.5hrs in Cobb works. Normally you could get 2hrs heat - I use the Cobb stones but guess will be the same with brickettes - so when you need heat so much longer, do you start a small secondary fire at about 1:30 so you can replace the brickettes once the first batch is done? Like a Webber type approach?

Same here. Since I stopped DSTV a few years ago I don’t watch rugby at home. Mostly MotoGP and the XCO for me

I have a BMW and KTM, service from the former is just so much better than the latter. Prices for normal service isn’t much in either case

My wife is learning to ride on the 390Duke, unfortunately failed the license. In my case I was lucky in anticipating she would want to do it so bought the 390 rather than the 690 as it would’ve been a bit much for her, especially given short legs. Apparently misunderstood where she should ride and went wrong way, when she stopped and reversed she failed for rolling backwards. But will try again and then we can do runs together [emoji41]

Having a poor couple of weeks as I’m on holiday so am only doing a walk every day [emoji848]

My new pet hate is when Apple Watch doesn’t sync with Strava .... now the waiting begins to see if it is just a delay or a quick 20min walk after dinner [emoji23]

Excuse the ignorance, but both the men and women GC as well as best African men’s team includes a member that didn’t actually prepare for the event. Is this an indication of how prepared the professional MTB are in general or is this an anomaly or maybe even the norm?

Consequence of this is that my dogs now walk many more times than what they used to. And I dropped 5kg since Jan but picked up 1kg again. So all good for me [emoji1303] My cycling also improved to such an extent that I share a podium with Langvad on Zwift. Just kidding, it’s because only those 2 people I follow did the segment. [emoji23] For this 365 group the pic is different although I’m still the sweeper ....

I use IDT with Zwift on my iPhone and use Apple Watch as the HRM. All info uploads to Strava

Also Lucky with Fantastic finding streams without issues but I did struggle a few months ago. At the moment making use of a free month of Netflix though

After the last Kodi update I couldn’t get Sportsdevil to work properly

For those who have an Apple Watch and not a proper training watch note that Strava on the watch now has indoor running as an option. So I haven’t tested it yet but could mean that we could use a treadmill in winter and still be OK

Any ideas where I can buy an old fashion bell to clip onto the collar when letting the dogs loose in the veld? Maggie has taken exploring to new levels and the tall grass isn’t helping. At the moment it’s a case of hoping you spot the tail!

Anybody here own a modern bike that has the electronics that assists with eliminating wheelies? Curious about how it helps in everyday riding or is it mostly marketing hype?

I guess taking lunch with only 2 runs needed saves the locals from losing before lunch ... no sensible way to defend the decision

Nearly had an issue on Sunday, the dog walk of 20+ Min showed less than 20 on Strava, reckon the autopause made the difference ... so just walked again the afternoon :-)
