The problem with the buying and selling is not so much the people willing to pay the price, what's questionable is that not everyone has the opportunity to constantly watch the classifieds. So when others get home fron work for example, and really do need a bargain most of the bargains have been snapped up for resale at a higher price later on. It may be business, but a bit inconsiderate for a community forum

hi everyone, i'm zane. been cycling about a year now, new to forums but been browsing the hub a long time. i'm doing multisport, and road cycling, when i have enough saved up, looking to branch into mtb. good thread. nice to meet everyone.

thanks for the reply, not really interested in name and shame game. i'm doing stuff to raise funds for an orphanage, and can't afford throwing 5k away. just wondering if there was any other way to get my money back or equivilant

so if i were to buy a set of wheels for 5k, and they turned out to be a set of carbon paperweights, besides rating the seller, what can i do?

to stray away from the china topic, how are edge design wheels? i see they are a lot cheaper than most on the market, not sure about quality though. would it be better to save and go with the china brands, or just cough up and get zipps? relatively speaking f course.

most rides are going out in the mornings, are there any afternoon groups in the area? i start work when these rides start.
