I hear you i really do....BUT... You drive a car...and just like cars Mercs can cost you 4 arms and 12 legs BUT...you can still have plenty of fun in grannys honda on an empty plot.. My bike cost me 4K and i have more fun on it than a local who shelled out 35k for his bike..its relative..dont hate the spot because things are expensive..just use what you have and have fun!

If you broke your bike a week before an event you were training very hard for or wanted to test a brand new high quality bike at your next race. Knowing that you could put your own saddle on it and the bike would be setup to your specific requirements.

Very clever front brake system. Weakens the forks somewhat im sure if you hit a pothole at speed my money is on it breaking there..

There are a bunch of us..no ladies (yet)... that ride when all our calenders permit. Usually slow on the technical stuff as many are still gaining confidence (myself included). We meet up from the Pvt hospital and head out into the plantations for some good company and laughter (the occasional laugh at the expense of someone).. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Theres a group of riders here in Howick that ride long before the sun comes up. I could pass it round to all of them and you could have more information and reviews than you could shake a stick at. It would be a pleasure.

Hi there, I am looking for some people to train with for Hill2Hill n September. I find that i dont have the drive to get up and go unless there is someone to brave the cold with. I am currently focusing on short rides with high intensity training and then on the weekends i do a longer ride with less intensity (40%-50%) with more technical stuff thrown in, and not avoiding climbing either. Anyone in Howick or surrounds that is interested please shout!!
