  1. Yeah there is lots of bush along Willow Road, nice pic. Your photographer has the minerals standing there.
  2. Jeez!! Quite a few places I had forgotten about. Come to think of it even the bushes behind Bridgmeade looking out towards Uitenhage (more or less). Never ride MTB in PE at all, only started MTB 2007 and DH type end last year/begining this year. Next time I go back to see folks and outlaws I might take the bike along.
  3. ? No-one tells me these things! No unfortunately not. Not sure where a person could carve a trail in PE. Down Brickmakers Kloof somewhere?!
  4. Nice. You hail from PE? I left there a few years ago myself. Looks like a really cool ride.
  5. what bike you riding?
  6. Thermophage: thats an awesome vid dude!!!! Nice, really. Cool track as well, how long is the ride more or less
  7. Yeah good old days. Now when I cycle with my goggles on I can't hear a thing around me. How times change
  8. Interesting thread 7:1
  9. Jokes aside, that is really a stoopid thing to do
  10. Not too worry, my eyes were closed so you probably did not spot me.
  11. Nah dude, I'm the oke standing on the front seat
  12. Mmmm, looks suspiciously like my mom.
  13. I generally give way to the baboons that live on the mountain. Other than that, I normally give way to guys coming down so as not to spoil their fun. But both up and down riders keeping left does equal CRASH
  14. Bicycles?: saw your perp. nice one.
  15. bicycles: i saw that or another perp for sale at recycles in durbanville. an insane rig, almsot bought one before the shova came along. the perp was in polished aluminium
  16. Using a coil from a Makro bike will be like riding a pogo stick. If you can handle that ride then you are well on your way to WC.
  17. Not really specific to coil, I would prefer the air route (no pun intended). But they are so damn expensive. R4000.00 or there abouts. I heard/read somewhere that a coil is not really recommended for the Shova as well.
  18. anyone have some advice on the best type of shock to have on a Shova? I have a RP23 which I am not really happy with, it seems to not be able to absorb enough at speed. It seems to be at the end of it's travel (ie "o" ring off). So.....
  19. @omega man: they're all rentals
  20. Ja, Jonkers has pretty much everything of everything. The hard climbs rewarded with lekker single track. Been there once or twice after the fire, scenery probably changed a hang of a lot since then.
  21. @Werner: Yeah, I saw you looking at them on Saturday as well. Seem well worth it, savings time again. Baby stuff or brace? I think it's time for farm school
  22. The 661 should have a removable lining. The guy I bought my lid from had 2 661's and he said he changed linings. I guess most lids have that. Would hate to ride a second third ride with the last rides fragrance still lingering inside
