  6. Well the I took out a 71902 bearing which came out of one of my wheel hubs and looking at it, it is a deep groove ball bearing which is designated 6902 at Bearingman which cost me R50-00. The others might be the same?! Dunno
  7. A mate of mine ordered a 4 bike rack (towbar mounted, galvanised, lights, cable etc) from CRC for a 1/3rd of the price of the "local" import. A tail light was broken, he emailed and complained, they sent a complete set to SA and gave him some vouchers for future purchases. I don't know, my small input to a volatile (sic) subject.
  8. I changed my RS Team from 100 to 115mm, by taking it apart and taking out a spacer. Not sure if the Race has the same setup. Took me about 2 hrs using a service manual I download from the website.

  15. I mounted the cam on my handle bars, and it picked up lots of road noise/tyre noise. Probably better on the helmet or shoulder.

  24. My pledge from now on - screw you guys - I'll buy second hand or import. Your days of lightening my pockets are over! Looks like the plans made at the "margin raising" cycle retail meeting of some months ago are being put in place...count me out. I agree with that statement. I ended up buying a 2nd hand full suss just because of the cost. Or maybe I am just poor poor poor. Or get a tandem and hire out the rear seat.
