  2. OK Thanks BMC Fan! Ek wou sommer van my warmup af in die 'suites' inry, maar sal maar eers gaan inboek nou. Sien jou seker Sondag by die begin. Hoop jy kon oefening inkry so deur die min slaap en doeke deur .
  3. So what will happen if you don't sign on and only start racing? I think a lot of people does that.
  4. See below... Do you actually have to go and sign-on on race day? At least 20 minutes before the race starts? I see no helmet stickers required. Does anyone actually go to the tables to sign in? 8. Event entry procedures on the day On the morning of the event, each rider must sign on at the Virgin Active Pro Classic Series tables. No other entry is necessary as the Virgin Active Pro Classic Series organizer will be paying across your event entry fee to the race organizer out of your registration fee for the series. Virgin Active Pro Classic Series riders will therefore not be required to wear helmet stickers. Please note that Virgin Active Pro Classic Series sign-on will close 20 minutes before the start of each route (short, medium, long).

  7. Yes!! That happens when I get dehydrated.
  8. I am a fairly big guy that takes in a lot of liquids during my ride but the problem is... there aint enough space for extra watterbottles on my bike. AND seeing that I'm a real roadie I'm not allowed to ride with Camelback. Any advice?? Below is what I've done so far...
  9. Slowbee, all seeding rides for Argus 2010 are over. Of the above rides the Construction du Cap Ninety Niner and Argus itself will count for 2011 Argus seeding. That's all.
  10. Thanks Chrispy. Just want to plan my year ahead and those will be the MUST DO races then. Still have to enter for league. When can that be done?Vaste 62009-12-11 03:45:26

  13. Thanks Tarmac!! Want to work on the climbing over the holidays. Will do that exact route and see how it goes.
  14. Where's the Westlake / CycleLab people? We want to do a 150km training ride with the most hill climbing possible starting at Westlake Cyclelab and ending there again. What's the best route to ride trying to include Ou Kaapse weg, Red Hill, Chapman's, etc., etc... Thanks
  15. Thanks to all you Mamparas, Holies and Scottys!
  16. Do I have to belong to a club to get a 2010 Cyclosport licence? When can you apply for this licence and what are the requirements? I have a 2009 licence but won't be joining a club for 2010 so can I still just get the licence? I see you have to have this licence before 10 January to be seeded in the racing groups for the Argus.
  17. I have the GP4000 Black Chili's on at the moment and very happy. Never had a puncture also. They are just really expensive and am looking at buying the Gatorskins rather but don't want to "downgrade" really. Or to such an extend where I will start noticing it.
  18. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Gatorskins and the Black chili's. I know the Black chili's are a more 'race specific' tyre, but would a rider like myself (PPA B-index) really note a difference between the 2 tyres? Training and racing on the same tyre? I have Black chili's on at the moment but if I put on Gatorskins would that have an effect on my time in a race at all?
  19. Come on guys!!! This is easy... the timing mats in the beginning is just to register that you're starting in that specific group. A no-brainer... After crossing the mats you're normally waiting a minute or so before you actually start from which time your race time will be measured.
  20. Jip, was at Geco on Friday and they had stock. Phone first if you want 021 982 3446. Also the cheapest you'll get.
  21. Ronelle, its me... Me and fire kicked Marius's but(t) in the 1500m and 2000m. First 2 events. Only because we're more clever than him... Or like Fanie would say sneaky.Vaste 62009-10-08 02:54:12
  22. RS800CX Multi comes GPS and with the touch of a button change your stats from e.g. km/h when you cycle to min/km when you change over to running. You can even swim with the thing. Obviously all other features as well, analysis, google earth, etc. R6500 though. Very much worth it for me
