  1. 40ks of single track. Checkout www.lilyfontein.co.za for routes and profiles
  2. Do some XCo racing/time trials - hi intensity and fun instead of the deadly painful interval training up your local hill. And your skills will improve dramatically as well. Assuming you ride a MTB obviously!
  3. Momsen Vipa - fast and comfortable - my choice of wheelchair!
  4. Honey and bananas. Fruit cake also great. Powerade and water Put honey in your water bottle or use EnerB honey sachets which are very convenient - one hand needed to open and consume I like to mix future life and oats 50/50 for breakfast
  5. Thanks for the honest feedback! Honey works! whichever way you decide to use it. Go cheap and make your own sachet or pay me for some convenience! - the choice is yours. Natural is better than processed and honey is very easy to buy in any supermarket.
  6. Give Alex Harris a break - he dared to try something extra-ordinary. Most of us are to cowardly to even try. Hopefully once they have re-grouped and had a good think about what went wrong they will be back with a more workable solution. All the best to them
  7. Do you have the legs to conquer the Hogsback mountains. Awesome event in the pristine Eastern Cape mountains. Try this race for something different - oh and you don't need a tent!
  8. Honey works best as a gel - 100% natural
  9. Want bigger calves - use a Brahman bull!
  10. Use Honey - natural energy that really works. Make your own sachets, add to your water bottle or if you prefer convenience buy EnerB honey sachets - ask for them at your LBS or Spar. Honey is natures wonder product and EnerB has packaged it perfectly!
  11. Keyboards must be like beer - both make people think they are clever!
  12. Need some advice on the merits of running as part of training for MTB stage racing. Have heard that it slows you down. Others says it makes you stronger? I do know that there is nowhere to hide when you are running - no hills to freewheel down! Comments?
