We stopped to try help a girl having an asthma attack. Her friend called ER24 number and they didn't even know about the race. Unbelievable given that there were many of their emergency cars around. Luckily she managed to regulate her breathing and got going again. Pretty poor given how good all the marshaling was on the day! I think there needs to be a number that you can call for help and they should be able to contact the people on the ground supporting the event.
I read a book about Armstrong's training (yes, he did do some training :-) ) they mentioned a formula for him about his weight to power ratio and what he could achieve as he lost weight during the tour.
I agree with OP. Cannondale tandem 2014 - Fork recall on 11 December 2013. 23rd February still no replacement. Attitude when I called also stank! The replacement forks were supposed to arrive last week, lets see what happens this week.
So what did Alan have to say! I was told that they are on their way and should arrive this past week. Well it has come and gone and still no replacement fork!
I did that on Monday and received a call last night to tell me that it is a team event and no points will get allocated. be interested to see if you get a different agent and get the points.
Very surprised to find out that Double Century does not qualify for any Vitality points! Absolute joke, they say it's a team event and therefore does not qualify. Think it's a big scam, any excuse not to allocate points!
