  1. I was in the % bunch and right behind the crash. Did some bundu bashing and managed to get around it and stay on my bike, but by then the bunch was too far ahead. I agree with the marshalling being excellent because it really was. My thanks to the two marshalls on the motobikes who had to try and contain the whole of % and A bunch.

  5. From my experiences in rowing at school.. Creatine, Bicarb and Caffeine are the only "proven" supplements to have an effect on performance. There have been many "proven" tests and studies done involving cycling and rowing. I could certainly feel a difference during trials and races. Cadence Nutrition's products say "scientifically formulated to potentially" as there is no 100% guarantee that the products work in every individual. I will try and find the article from the book "Rowing Faster", where they support their claims with data and testing on Creatine, BIcarb and Caffeine. An even better idea would be to go onto this website.. https://www.sciencetosport.com/forum/ and ask Dr Jeroen Swart and his team directly in the forum.

  7. 3DT has 1,3-Dimethylamylamine in it and is on the WADA list for banned substances, so I wouldn't recommend using it if you're racing for places or prize money.

  11. I did not once say that its an excuse.. i was referring to how he could have simply said something to him as he isn't an aggressive person. Some of you people seriously need to use your heads a bit more and actually read.
  12. The situation has been delt with. The "litterer" is a 15 year old who is extremely quiet and shy - so next time don't assume that the person is an aggressive maniac and say something. I don't see what else you want people to say? Do you have a personal vendetta against the club "Rydogg"? I suggest that you get over it.
  13. Maybe my response is being taken more negatively then it should be taken and I apologise for that. I just feel that this could have been avoided if the person acted when it happend and decided not to create such a post in the manner that he did. I am not 'hacking back'. As i said I am going to speak to the higher orders as I am a mere rookie in the club. Thanks for the notification of the incident.

  15. That is exactly what I am going to do. I just can't understand why people come on here and complain about petty things which can easily be sorted out in person. I don't come on here and complain about people throwing stuff away, I tell them about it there and then. I don't come on the Hub and winge about how poorly some other clubs ride and the danger that they create. It's called saying something in the moment instead of making such a big deal about it on a popular forum. Constructively solve the problem.
  16. I am part of City Cycle Club (wasn't the offender), but why not simply speak to the someone from the club? Being immature and crying about it on a forum does nothing good. There were loads of us there after the race. Instead of sitting behind a screen come and say something.
  17. May seem like a silly question, but is the aim to go flat out up the climbs or tempo? Just so that I can know what type of session i am doing to structure the intensity of my week around it. Thanks.
