We should post 'wanted' ads for the bikes. Obviously not too specific, but generally those models. I can imagine someone who stole them might only reply to 'wanted' ads all via private email and not make their sale public like in a 'for sale' section.
i hate hubs. they always seem to complicate things. axle-through, spoke hole, IS, 6-bolt, centrelock, QR, 135mm spacing. DAMMIT! MAKE A STANDARD THING!

I am looking to buy a downhill bike and came across these ads: http://www.paarlmtb.com/classifieds.php I think this site is legit - it's just these 2: Specialized Demo 9 dh (email: spzdemo@yahoo.com) & SANTA CRUZ v10 DOWNHILL (jmkvn@yahoo.com) I saw these and managed to get hold of the Demo 9 guy.. He was VERY keen to sell a practically new Specialized Demo9 for 800 Euros. I spoke to him and asked him how he could convince us he isn't a scam. I asked why he wanted to sell. He replies with "bike in exelent condition. i am selling this bike i need not of". When I asked for a picture of his identity or something he didn't reply. Eish.
