  1. Where do you guys buy your Bianchi items.. I have found that allot of the cool accesories I needed to buy directly from ebay. (Jackets, gloves, etc) J&Jcycles (SA Agents) has some but not a wide variety of items. Even small things like bottles etc.. to buy this off ebay does not work out as the bottle will be $5 but the shipping would be $28 Was wondering if the other Bianchi fanatics have found another source in SA?
  2. Phoned in and got sorted they needed to merge two of my records. This is the route as per the entry: 97km - Starting from Nelson Wine Estate, cyclists will pedal along the outskirts of Wellington via the R45 to Lady Loch Road, where they will cross the Lady Loch bridge and head towards Hermon and Riebeek Kasteel via the R44. After a left-turn onto the R46, riders will pass the Hermon and Riebeek Kasteel turn-offs before ascending the Bothmaskloof Pass (after about 38 km ) and continue towards Malmesbury. Once in Malmesbury you cycle along Loedolf Road to exit Malmesbury on the R302, before returning via Voorpaardeberg Road. A left-turn at Windmeul takes you back on the R44 where you head for the fast finish just before the entrance to Nelson Wine Estate<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
  3. I am having issues trying to register. When I search for my name , 2 instances come up, when I add my id it says invalid id. so then I go and add a new person, when I save the info it says I already exist and must use the search option. Going round in circles. Have emailed them for assistance nothing so far.
  4. I have the 7800 groupo on my bike and prefer the shiny crank to the one above. Just my preferance.
  5. Nice one, welcome to the Bianchi family.
  6. Thats will become my desktop pic
  7. Its all in the detail I know, I know Shimano on a Bianchi, the purists sing the song. Its my personal preferance, not saying its the best choice for everyone, it is for me though.
  8. Hi I finally went with the celeste vittoria rubinos had to order them off ebay. Was considering the white walls but they looked like they picked up dirt to quickly. Spat2009-09-22 13:29:07
  9. No I love the road, only bought the trainer for days when I cant get out there. For me its hardly a substitute but at least I can get a workout if its raining etc...
  10. Hi New to using indoor trainer, it seems like riding on the indoor trainer is much harder than say riding outside. (have fluid one, which increases resistance the fastser I go) I know that both would be variable depending on how fast etc... but is there a general rule which says for every km on a indoor trainer its equal to so much km on the road.(all things being equal)
  11. Hi Anybody use the training programs on the Argus website, they look quite comprehensive, think they were produced by Cyclelab. according to the programs all you need is 15 weeks of decent saddle time. Has anyone used these in the past tours and to what success?

    Flight Deck

Hi I bought flight deck from Alida, trying to get it connected to my levers, the plugs that go under the hood does not seem to fit in the dura ace 7800 sti. Its the 5202 computer? Anyone else have this experience am I going to need to buy new base for the computer?
  14. Bought a set of 420's I love them. They roll for miles and there is hardly any flex from the wheels when climbing, great all round wheels. And they look great.
  15. Congrats Desmond I can relate to just liking nice things and also being a freak when it comes to keeping your bike clean and free of scratches. Wish you many happy km's on it.
  16. Actually got similar feedback from some of my buddies.
  17. The white also looks great. Do you have any indications of what they go for in the lbs? Will start phoning around.
  18. Wow, Mampara, thanks Thats amazing, I like the green as well. Is that the same as the one Mercks posted?
  19. I think those would look great, sent pm
  20. The bike seems very conservative to me, all of a sudden. There is small red detail , like the Tcube is written in red. Also just liked the way the red looked on the weekend, they were on a white bike so did not really match, rather stood out which I think is the idea.
  21. Wow, that option never even occured to me, and it sounds good. Thanks
  22. On the past Sunday cycle, I noticed quite a few guys had red tyres on their bikes, it looked good to me and am now considering looking for a set that will match my bike, whats you views? Which tyres should I get and what colour would match my bike? I was thinking either Red, or the famous Celeste colour, anyone know where I can get that colour tyres in Cape Town?
