  6. jaaaa me tooooo
  7. I speak under correction here, but last I heard an individual rider contract cost R550 per rider and when you register as a "team" with CSA then it can be up to R2000 per rider. But I will get the correct info for you from CSA.
  8. yes, but say for instance that you have a team contract your sponsor is not going to be too happy with that
  9. Are you sure Icycling, wasn't it the case that you can only ride in the kit what is on your lisence? Unfortunately one rider transgressed the kit/license rule recently to the extent that they will have to check the licenses from now on.
  10. WPCA is not involved in PPA leagues, WPCA signs your contract so that you can ride for your team and get a license to participate in the Leagues. Your club is affiliated to WPCA which in return is affiliated to CSA, which in return is affiliated to UCI (which bye the way implement the rules). You guys want to be treated like proper cyclists, then you have to take the responsibility and behave as such. Don't always put the blame on PPA, WPCA or CSA. I'm also a great supporter of the team mentioned here. One of my friends ride for that team and will always try and help them or any body who asks for assistance to promote cycling. The same as I've done when you phoned me to have your contracts signed to be able to register for the league in time. So no WPCA or PPA or officials are not busy with a witch hunt, simply they follow the rules.
  11. Dit was nie veronderstel om 'n skinner storie te wies nie, dit was suiwer information orientated
  12. Hi All <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> It seems there is some uncertainty with regard to licensed riders and the correct kit that they have to wear, especially here in the WP. If you are riding for a team; you are registered at CSA; either as an individual contracted rider (for that specific team) or as a complete team. On that contract all the sponsors of your team will appear, which in return must reflect on your kit. And once you have signed that contract with a team and your license gets issued by CSA, YOU HAVE TO RIDE IN THAT KIT at ALL licensed events. If you don?t ride for a team and you only belong to a club and you are a fully licensed rider taking part in a licensed event, you also have to ride in only that club kit as indicted on your license. (Let?s say you belong to Harmony club and you are riding SV League with a full license, then you can only ride in a Harmony kit at a licensed event). In the event that you forget your kit at home, or you quit to your team half way through the season you can however ride in a neutral kit, until you have changed your license. In other words, just a plain shirt and plain pants with NO wording/branding on it. And it also must have the right requirements, such as sleeves etc. You can?t ride in just a plain under vest or T-shirt for instance. That?s not cycling kit. If you have a cyclo sport license or at a non-licensed event (funride), then you can ride in what ever kit you like. (your sponsor just might not like it ). And please always check your license to ensure that all your team sponsors and or clubs are correct on there mistakes do happen.
  13. could be, really hard to say
