  1. Hit the nail on the head! Turns out when I added a new valve as well it wasn’t quite sitting flush in the rim bed allowing air to get through the valve hole and under the welded rim bed and escaping out the vent. When I say vent, there is a tiny hole on the outside of either side of the rim that is apparently drilled when they weld the rim allowing the hot air to escape from the welding.
  2. Long story short, went for a ride on Saturday and received a lovely large blister in my rear tyre, but fortunately have a spare suagaro tyre in the garage. So remove old tyre, clean rim with soapy water and install new sealant and tyre. Start pumping and wheel won’t stay inflated at all. Turns out the air is leaking out hard from the small air vent in the side of the rim and have no idea why. Rim is an Easton XC70, please help!!!
  3. You should be able to type the link on your pc/phone/tablet exactly as is says, and when this is done a code should appear in that browser to insert in the App, this should all only be done after the app has fully downloaded and you signed in with some credentials.
  4. How does one enter? Cant find any website or links?
  5. I'm on a 8mb line with 100GB data capped from Axxess, I stream or download everything, watched every day of the Tour de France as well as F1 and all the rugby as well as Netflix on Apple TV and only managed to hit 70GB when checked yesterday. I get uncapped between 12am-6am, which means I schedule my downloads for then.
  6. Anyone have any experience with Axcess? See there were voted number one on a my broadband poll, and their capped bundles are quite a bit cheaper?
  7. Correct, but looking last week the Premium was only R30 more per month than the home package. Go online today and it is R200 more per month, but if you let them look after your ADSL line as well its an extra R100 as opposed to the R399 with telkom. Quite confused because thats a jump of R170 since last week Wednesday.
  8. There is a fair use policy of 100GB and will be throttled thereafter if need be. But after looking again I may get the 150GB capped bundle for R299 instead.
  9. Hi Face Plant, last week I did the swop over and did all the sums as to the cost involved. I would be paying as of 1 April (DSTV increase) R1397,00 per month for DSTV and my 2mb uncapped line consisting of the following per month: Telkom Landline: R189 Telkom DSL Line: R165 MWeb Uncapped 2mb package: R199 DSTV: R844 (Premium + add ons, catch up etc.) I will now be paying the following: Telkom Landline: R189 Telkom DSL Line: R399 Afrihost 8mb Uncapped package: R327 This gives me a total spending of: R915 per month. I will use Kodi on a Amazon FireStick which costs around R1700 from Takealot and use that to plug straight into the TV. It will connect to the Wifi and comes with a remote. I can then use it exactly how I would use a DSTV decoder set up. But I can also load netflix etc. onto it. Hope this helps.
  10. You can get a drifta for R49 pm without having a subscription, but have access to DSTv mobile for free if you are a premium subscriber. Its not cheating if I ask them first
  11. Yesterday I decided enough is enough and that DSTV can shove it. I sat down and did all the math and realised that for DSTV as of next months increase and a 2mb uncapped line I was paying R1400 per month. That is a stupid amount of money to pay in todays technological environment when there are ways of watching everything online via streaming etc. Therefore I decided to cancel DSTV and go the streaming route. I have now increased my line speed to 8mb via Afrihost. I will buy a Amazon Firestick and load Kodi on there, this enables me to merely move the stick from TV to TV if I so desire or just use my laptop as I have been and connect to the bedroom TV and leave the stick in the main lounge. At R1800 from takealot it is still cheaper than a DSTV Xplora decoder and I am still able to load Netflix etc. People are worried about sport, as was I, but I am going to use my in-laws smart card number and use that to stream straight from supersport or purchase a drifta at R49 pm and stream that off my laptop. The sums made sense. An 8mb uncapped line and telephone line from Telkom is R588 pm, 8mb uncapped from Afrihost is R399 pm, for a grand saving of R450 or so a month. This means I can still watch my sport whenever I want, stream whatever I want and not have to give one more worry about DSTV ever again, and that is what I call freedom!!
  12. You can cancel by going online to the self service page and just disconnecting there. No waiting or incompetent people making your life difficult. In saying that I can't wait for telkom to upgrade my line to 8mb/s and I can go in there and tell them exactly why I'm cancelling, I know that person can't do anything about it but it should give me a few minutes of satisfaction
  13. At first I saw Orica Greenedge but then saw the title.

  16. Haha I barely have enough fitness to finish, never mind getting off my bike unnecessarily
  17. We were in the same batch which was a couple batches down, neither him nor me were going to be anywhere near podium spot
  18. The right hand side had the smoothest path and was the same line everyone was riding so sort of just sat on that same line.
  19. Morning Everyone Yesterday I participated in the Tour de Krantz and was involved in a crash with another rider. I would like to know if it was my fault or just something that happens and should you just get on with it? About 4km in I was riding on a dirt farm road on the far right hand shoulder of the road. The fellow rider came up behind me saying passing right, now I was so close to the right edge I didn't know how he would pass, so I looked behind me and asked him which side he wants to pass, and got the answer very sarcastically with " this right hand side" with his arm thrown up, so I just let him do his thing, he came up next to me and as he passed on my right he hit a tree with his handlebars and went down in front of me, I managed to miss him but barely but did stop and made sure he was ok,which he answered with a rather harsh couple statements and grunting. I ask if it was my fault, due to the fact that there was a whole dirt road to my left, so was it my duty to move all the way over, when he could easily have just ridden straight passed with no hassle? Thanks guys
  20. You could also try your local canoeing shop, they use it on the bladders for life jackets. Good luck
