  1. Are they the original hubs that came with the bike? If so what bike?
  2. I did forget about the ownership rights during the races, and I assume that extends to the teams during the entirety of the event, ie. rest days, before and after stages? It is a tricky situation, but there also needs some sort of internal change in the teams thinking. Its crazy to think Mitchelton-Scott are the only team with some sort of genuine behind the scenes YouTube videos and publicity. I can only imagine that it keeps there sponsors very happy during the year, as well as their podcast with genuine insights and interviews, done very well. How many of us would watch and listen to more of what Mitchelton-Scott does, I would love to hear riders speaking more than the 5 minute post race talk about how the race went, all of this brings more eyes and ears to teams, and that is what sponsors want, of course results are priority number one, but with more sponsors comes more money and more chances of success, rinse and repeat. I for one love behind the scenes stories. Stories from guys who are part of the grupetto, the domestiques etc.
  3. Like everyone has alluded to, apparel won't be the money spinner teams truly need. What cycling does have though in terms of the public, is a fairly well earning majority. This is purely an idea, that may be absolutely horrible and impossible to implement. But for me, I think the teams need to try and sell experiences to the cycling public, be it back stage passes to races, training camp rides etc. I understand for the majority of people this wouldn't interest them, but the amount of people who travel to the big races from all over the world is phenomenal. Imagine offering 5 passes per stage at a cost to the public who can be a part of the prior stage happenings or be a part of the team dinner after a stage, something that people will value more than a $150 cycling shirt, as it is an experience, and seeing as they have flown half way around the world, what's an extra little bit for a fantastic experience.
  4. It was revived over a year ago, very weird to revive it a year later with absolutely zero purpose
  5. Interestingly, no Thomas or Froome for GB in the road race, and no Impey for SA
  6. If anyone is interested, here is the entry list for the Mens RR and ITT https://www.uci.org/docs/default-source/official-documents/2018-uci-road-world-championships/2020/20200917-imol-me-entries.pdf
  7. I would pop past a Specialised shop, massive range, the below is on special with MIPS for R690. https://www.specialized.com/za/en/align-w-mips/p/162044?color=251282-162044&searchText=60819-1062
  8. Any update on this magical frame?!?
  9. fr-frd-ultimate-dura-ace-di2-2020 fr-advanced-ultegra-di2-2020 Maybe someone can give some clarity between the 2 bikes above. It's a R105 000 price difference, but all I can see being different is Ultegra v Dura-Ace, and Reynolds v Dura-Ace wheels. How does that make sense?? I can buy 2 of the Ultegra bikes and still have R11 000 to upgrade one of them to Dura-Ace! And there is only a 300g difference between them.
  10. Maybe these guys in Australia can sort you out. https://biggride.com.au/collections/mountain-bikes/products/mondraker-f-podium-rr-frameset
  11. Canyon Lux Frameset, https://www.canyon.com/en-za/mountain-bikes/cross-country-bikes/lux/lux-cf-slx-frameset/2440.html?dwvar_2440_pv_rahmenfarbe=BK%2FWH&dwvar_2440_pv_rahmengroesse=M&quantity=1#!accordions=1_1
  12. Maybe give the guys at Two Wheels Trading a call, they seem to have rebuild kits, so they should be able to help you out.
  13. Really hope that's not the case, otherwise the poor OP has been pushing his bike with no pedals or shoes for 6 months, poor bugger
  14. Not quite a braai, but cooking with fire nonetheless. Received this as a gift yesterday. First one in the country, excited to try it out tomorrow, a couple pizzas, steaks and anything else I can get my hands on. https://www.gozney.com/uk/products/home-ovens/roccbox/
  15. You mean something like this? https://city-press.news24.com/News/dad-takes-on-papgeld-reality-show-claiming-defamation-20190203
  16. For anyone with an Xbox, DSTV now app is now available. Working really well.
  17. It shouldn't, unless you don't seat the valve properly like I did and the air disappears down the valve hole and out that hole
  18. Hit the nail on the head! Turns out when I added a new valve as well it wasn’t quite sitting flush in the rim bed allowing air to get through the valve hole and under the welded rim bed and escaping out the vent. When I say vent, there is a tiny hole on the outside of either side of the rim that is apparently drilled when they weld the rim allowing the hot air to escape from the welding.
  19. Long story short, went for a ride on Saturday and received a lovely large blister in my rear tyre, but fortunately have a spare suagaro tyre in the garage. So remove old tyre, clean rim with soapy water and install new sealant and tyre. Start pumping and wheel won’t stay inflated at all. Turns out the air is leaking out hard from the small air vent in the side of the rim and have no idea why. Rim is an Easton XC70, please help!!!
  20. You should be able to type the link on your pc/phone/tablet exactly as is says, and when this is done a code should appear in that browser to insert in the App, this should all only be done after the app has fully downloaded and you signed in with some credentials.
  21. How does one enter? Cant find any website or links?
  22. I'm on a 8mb line with 100GB data capped from Axxess, I stream or download everything, watched every day of the Tour de France as well as F1 and all the rugby as well as Netflix on Apple TV and only managed to hit 70GB when checked yesterday. I get uncapped between 12am-6am, which means I schedule my downloads for then.
  23. Anyone have any experience with Axcess? See there were voted number one on a my broadband poll, and their capped bundles are quite a bit cheaper?
  24. Correct, but looking last week the Premium was only R30 more per month than the home package. Go online today and it is R200 more per month, but if you let them look after your ADSL line as well its an extra R100 as opposed to the R399 with telkom. Quite confused because thats a jump of R170 since last week Wednesday.
