    Has anyone cycled the MTB? Assume it is probably just mostly dirt roads?

    Took my Asics trabuco 11 for a 10km spin at Wolwespruit today and super impressed Grip and stability is great felt way more confident going downhill. I think I might have gona 1/2 size to big but I assume bigger is better than smaller so me left foot was sliding a but but nothing major. Going to try fix with thicker socks and maybe different lace techniques. Any recomendations for good thick running socks? Currently using falke which is already on the thicker side. First impressions of the shoe is 9/10 but will have to run it in to give a full review.

    Yeah I bought a cheap dustin at game and iced my legs after every run. Combination of foam rolling, exercise and stretching with the ice help reduced the inflation but its also critical to get the right shoes and ensure you don't overtrain which is like 90% of the cause usually

    WSportsmans Warehouse had the Trabuco 11 on sale and with additional vitality discount got them for R1300. They feel really solid just unsure on it hat size and how much space there should be in a trail shoe but took similar size to my long run shoes so wil see how it works

    Thanks will head to sportsmans tomorrow and se eif there is anything left in my size but there is also an asics factory outlet near me which will definately have a pair of trabuco's

    Ahh thanks yeah running techincal and non technical and anything from 5km to 40-50km (although only once a year). have been trying to land on my front foot to improve speed on the road but its a slow process so still a heel striker. Asics Trabuco seems to have great reviews will go try on a pair as I see they are alos on sale. Thanks

    Hey Guys, looking for some trail running shoe recommendations, I currently have the Solomon Sense Ride 3 which have been decent but no real benchmark to compare to.     Agreed think Fordyce would do a great Job (Bester aswell but don't think he would leave his Nedbank coaching) The replies from Rowan are a joke looks like a high shcool child wrote the replies not the race director.

    I see Adrian Gore is going to try run a sub 5 minute mile end of November. Also going to attempt it current PB is around 5:18 but that was a few years ago, anyone else keen on try it ?     With regards to sizes my long run shoes are 2 sizes above my normal shoe size any recommendations on tempo shoes size? I assume 1 size above normal size should be fine as I need a bit of wiggle room but don't want to be sliding around while sprinting

    Hey Guys looking for a new neutral tempo / race shoe recommendation (5km-10km, max a 21km but maybe once every 6 months). I currently use the following Asics Gel Nimbus 23 (for long runs - with inners) Asics Gel DS Trainer 24 (tempo runs - no inner) Nike Pegasus 23 (Gym and casual runs - no inner) Budget is around R 2 000 and I prefer Nike or Asics but open to suggestions. Will probably buy from a factory shop / previous generation to get around budget. Thanks

    Hey guys so finally saved up and narrowed it down to 2 headphones (also open to other suggestions) - Jabird Vista 2 (amazon) and Jabra Elite active 4. Anyone own one of these they can recommend ? Budget around R 2k. The aftershokz but also want to use these in an office evey now and then.

    Haha yeah I see its downhill but the last 60km has some nice climbs... Did a 105km this weekend and went out to fast with my limited training I will just need to focus on starting slow and hope for good weather

    Yeah the Aftershokz has amazing reviews but might want earbuds I can use for daily use aswell still undecided. Heard good things from Bose SoundSport's haven't tried them. Anyone tried Jabra reviews are great but I guess it will depend on what is on sale. Will be using them most for running + gym and occasionally for cycling not sure if that makes a difference

    Hey guys so I tried the Samsung galaxy buds 2 and they kept falling out my ears, now have some credit at takealot so I assume Jabra is the best solutions otherwise maybe the new Jaybird Vista on amazon? Anyone have some new recommendations ? Thanks
