    Which Assos bib would you recommend ? Gona wait for a sale so I have time untill Nov/Dec and I will probably only start with long rides in Jan again

    Hey Guys reading through this thread I think it might be time to invest in proper kit. Currently I have a few budget bibs,1 first accent bib and 1 Ktm bib that is great but probably 5-6 years old. I am looking for the best bang for buck bib and then probably 1 premium bib. Below what I am looking at: 1 - Vye Bib - Any idea on how long these last ? 2 - Assos T.Mille GT Bib Shorts - any idea how long this last ? (Saw it on sale for R 2400)

    Hey guys, bought a pare of trail running shoes, took them for a 8km run but they are to small. Shop didn't want to exchange them for a bigger size but they also didn't have stock and refereed me to the Sandton store. Does this fall under the CPA or can't you return shoes that have been used once ?

    That 5k time is unbelievable, I can barely do sub 20 and then I'm wasted. What got me the most was how good he looked after finishing

    Tried the SL 20's and they were to narrow on the arch, Pegasus 37 to narrow around the mid foot/toes and felt like the back was slipping so I guess the last option is the Gel DS Trainers 25. See there is a special on superbalist so might try them although not sure if it is a stability or neutral shoes ?

    Really enjoy Seth James Demoor youtube videos. Currently between Adidas SL 20 and Nike Pegasus 37, will have to try them both tomorrow.

    Hey guys looking for a new racing shoes mainly for 5 - 10km, have asics gel nimbus for loner runs. Budget around R 2000 (want to use my discovery shoes booster) I see the Nike Men's Air Zoom Pegasus 37 which looks like a good option Any recommendations ? Thanks

    Agreed Cavendish would also crush that is he was going full out, either way this guy is a machine probably favorite for the Olympics. A 1:07 on a 21km is ridiculous

    Hey guys anyone know the difference between the Forerunner 945 and Fenix 6Pro ? Both appear to have the same specs and cost R 11k, is it only plastic vs metal ?

    Did the same run and was able to take 15 s off the time with the same heart rate. Lockdown strength training seems to have helped a bit but think if I went for a 10 or 15km run I would see a big decline,

    Do you need to wear a mask while exercising?

    Just did a speed test 6.5km in 29 min. Going to try strength training and a lot of sleep for 21 days will then try again. Wonder if I will loose or gain speed.

    Not sure why the Two Oceans can't just use the entries for next years race like some other races are doing. Remember a couple of months ago the Big Sponsors pulled out (Old Mutual, Adidas etc) with vague statements but the rumors where miss management of funds. In short the Two Oceans obviously can't refund as they don't have the money but I still think a partial refund is fair as all the race day and expo expenses aren't realized.
