  1. i ride on those days from Valverde Country hotel at the cradle, i have a nice 60 km route that can be done twice for distance.
  2. Hi Guys I am going down to Scottsburg for our family Christmas holidays and i would like to do some riding as i am training for Ironman next year. Is anyone training down there who would like a training partner. Does anyone know of any club around that area? cheers
  3. let's get the list as a starting point and i can go with it to the police and see what they say. We also need to make the other residents aware of what happened so that they are in the know. I put my email forward again to do this so please let's just do it. joaquin at valverde dot co dot za
  4. besides the guy that was shot on Sunday last week, nothing much! luckily the gun got jammed and he could escape unscathed
  5. we should try and get a list of those that got punctures today with some evidence, pictures, etc and then go to the police and open the case. I am a cradle resident myself and a cyclist and i am sick and tired of that idiot with the drawing pins. Anyone who had a puncture please email me on joaquin at valverde co za and i will take it up with the head of the police at Mogale. I will also take it up with the residents themselves to show them this ass is having the opposite effect on cyclists and something bad is bound to happen we did have the right 2 ride today and saw all the people with punctures, likely we didn't get affected. i want to take this seriously guys so please speak to everybody you know that was affected today and let me know
  6. hi there yes, T1 is uphill and a couple of hundred metres long but is not too bad actually. The run is quite hard as you climb from the cabana hotel all the way up to the palace hotel and then back down and through the golf course. it is quite windy with lots of turns. The bike is not too hard (unless the wind shows up that is) except for that climb up from the entrance of suncity to the turnaround point all in all one of my favourite triathlons in gauteng!!!!! good luck
  7. well again aiming for sub 2:30 but I stand to be disappointed yet again
  8. nice, thanks for the pics, awesome stuff!!
  9. AC didn't do anything wrong, Samu Sanchez and Menchov wouldn't have waited for them so he couldn't just slow down get off his bike and watch Andy come right with his own mess. he must learn how to use his gears GO alberto you are the best
