Hey Capricorn this worked! Thank you, I have reinstalled my polar program, but it seems to be screwed up slightly, giving my kms in thousands and no heart rate, even though it has been captured correctly on my monitor - boy. Do not know what is going on, have been using this for so long, and never had an issue... Now all this! But I am sure that Polar will be able to help with this. Thanks for your trouble!!!!

I am on Windows 7. I found the I:\ under regedit, deleted it, but when trying to install/unistall the stupid computer is still looking at I:\... (Should I reboot?) Could not find a I:\ at .ini or .cfg...

Nope, no luck. Cannot get into any files on the CD to change the path...

Capricorn - I installed it from my D:/Drive but directly onto the external drive J:. I will see if I can find that path as per your comment. Thanks!

My Polar ProTrainer 5 software is doing the weirdest thing. Every time I try to install or even uninstall it, it wants to look at removable disk (I:) without giving me an option to direct it onto the correct path i.e. External Hard Disk (J:) or even to my C:/Drive. Can anyone help me with possible solutions here? I have made contact with Polar in Johannesburg twice, chatted to just about all the IT consultants and the only thing I get is promises of someone that will come back to me. This never happened! I am use to good service from them, but seem like that they do not have answers for me.

It is suppose to open directly from the Polar training program. And it in facts opens Google Earth, but then fails to open the ride details. Gives me the following comment: "Could not open file C:\Program Files\Polar\Polar Pro Trainer\MoonMan\2010\10032101.kml for reading"

I just bought a map "Table Mountain & Cape Peninsula Activities" It has got all the MTB trails as well as walking trails for the entire Table Mountain. I am very impressed... It is a 1st edition, so a new map, well worth the R102.00...

It is a .kml file...

So I just used my GPS Sensor for the 1st time. Download the route fine, but when I want to download/open it with Google Earth it tells me that it cannot read the spesific file Polar training file. Can anyone help?
