They are poor businessman if they can not negotiate better pricing from the source (especially now: recesion), or simply to greedy. In other industries manufacturers have minimum pricing policies to prevent distributors from different geographical locations compete with each other, I don?t see reason why cycling should be different. BTW I don?t mind all the shop owners driving Porsches, as long as I would pay the internationally comparable price plus the duties/VAT & shiping.
