I think the technical aspect of different distances shoud go in line with age categories: U12(sprogs) are allowed to race only up to 25km (?) and some 75km-route monster climbs might be just to much for them. epic was rather inexpensive on spares: - one cracked valve - I had spare - two bombs - two bottles of squirt lube - one secondhand xt inner cage for my RD from Probike guys. the triathlon group starts from police station in Norwood (3km away) at 7AM, riding to Benoni. Sometimes boys are racing sometimes riding.
