I must just warn everyone that this man is super convincing and sounds very trustworthy. He has some very good ways of making things easy for the sale to work. He said that he will be near me in two weeks and will bring the bike along, asked me for a deposit to secure the deal. Also asked from which bank I will be paying and provided a cash send to cell no. He has not yet provided the ID or Drivers license next to the bike I asked for. I also like to ask for the seller to take a very specific photo of the item. I look at the back ground on the photo, does it look like the area he is from, do the bricks or paving look South African, I ask small questions like how is the weather today in Knysna and follow that up with a weather check. My father in law always told me , You cant con a conman , hey but I try to protect myself ! I someone are legit, why would they not give you some personal details or specific requests if asked for. I love a nice and light carbon bike , but I dont want it to be none existing.

Been contacted by a Pierre Opperman from Knysna on a wanted ad.His phone numbers 063 627 5262 ; 064 690 0641. He had a beautiful offer with a e-wallet payment request. I then ask for a photo of his ID with the bike on offer and for a bank account number not an e-wallet number, my next request before payment is a copy of his latest municipal account with name and adres on.So far only received the e-wallet number. This man sounds as legit as my 80 year old father selling his lawnmower. He is smooth guys, older and deep afrikaans voice, likes to hit the Wanted ads. He has got taste in his offerings. Just never do the e-wallet cash account thing.He gave me an Absa cash acc notice. The most fantastic trail ever, took me back to my childhood days, just flying through the forest, pulling your ears back like a rabbit, "no brakes", no thinking, just smiles all the way!! This trail is the reason I RIDE, cause I want to go back and ride it again and again ;-) Thanx to everyone involved building such a dream trail !! Much appreciated and enjoyed !!
