Both have their ups and downs, personally I prefer soft tail mainly cos of the fact it's a lot more forgiving on the bumps, if you decide to go soft tail make sure it's quite a lite one, either carbon or super lite alloy, otherwise going up hills could be more of a challenge than on a hard tail Fruitloop2009-08-07 06:12:17

My best guess would be to take the cleats off your bike, then take an angle grinder and cut through the metal between the cleats and you shoes, but then that would just be a waste of shoes and cleats.. hmm, take the cleats off and buy new cleats and shoes??

You can't stop this, but maybe not give the person a time or seeding?? but then you might get some people who think they can do the long rides and then can't cos maybe some of them suffer from asthma and stuff like that.. Just my 2c
