  3. Think I should reconsider my take on MTBing...
  4. hehe I was just thinking about what you said while you where posting. I have some experience with macro and game furniture. Scary stuff. I think I will just change the oil and filter first. other jobs will go to the shop.
  5. I know what cover you are talking about. that is also oozing oil on warm days. it is on the gear shifters side. The monza does not have a kick starter for some reason......
  6. was thinking the same thing. wonder why the one boat blocked the entrance.
  7. The new tomb rider is in my backpack! exams are over in 3 weeks, and then that will be my weekend!!
  8. I have never attempted something like taking the engine apart. Who knows, perhaps I am not to useless once I do it...
  9. But with all your advice, it might seem that I know what I am talking about and not be taken for a ride!!
  10. Thanks Andy! Ill change the oil and see how it works. I know how to replace pedals and filters, but for the rest, ill have to take her in.
  11. oooooo........ oops... Insert face palm emoji....... Thanks for this!! It might be the problem with the clutch! Weekend schedule updated!!
  12. mine is on 29500 km. There is a guy in brackenfell who used to own the gomoto shop, went out of business, because of the franchise agreement. but he still works on the cheap and nasties. Perhaps you can give him a call? I also changed the calipers to go with the new brake pads.
  13. 20w40 multi grade, not synthetic. Those twisters have a very good reputation!!
  14. You do not see the smoke yet, but the smell is there.
  15. I do have a car in the garage, so its not my only transport. and luckily just transport to and from work. I do not do any weekend trips or drives, due to not trusting the thing. But they do keep on going for ever!! Will have to look into a fork service as well... Thanks for all the advice andy!
  16. Thanks andy, Its using about a liter a month. And I am doing a total of 44 km a day, 5 days a week. What is very interesting, the motomia is sold under the loncin brand in Australia.... Gaskets will have to custom made. I know of a place that I can try the disks! retired engineer, who kept some of his machines in his garage as a hobby!!
  17. Clutch is starting to slip and the oil leak is back. Rear disk is almost done. Chinese motorcycle spares told me to buy a new set of wheels to get disks that will fit. I am going to get a quote later today for opening her up and seal the gasket. The big problem is that most parts do not have part numbers, so you have to go in to all the shops and show them what it is that you want/ need.
  18. Or should I just sell the motomia for what I can get and buy a little scooter for commuting, until I can my my NC?
  19. Is motorbike engine brackets universal? What does it entail if I want to do an engine swop?

  21. as far as I know his name is arno and not anton. might be wrong.
  22. Saw a safety-boot commuter this morning on the N1 this morning heading towards town, just before the plattekloof turnoff. If I want to cycle to work, the N1 is the only road that has a shoulder all the way.......
  23. eyes wide shut en roller blades.
