Difficult situation this... I understood from a previous article I read on the weekend (can't recall where though) That apple's problem is not with "unlocking a single phone to assist with an investigation" but that that they are against the request (by someone?) to build in a 'backdoor' for the goverment to routinely 'hack into' apple smartphones when they 'deem it necessary'.... Again - was a quick read - going to try an find the article....
