  1. I wish they had like one word for "bicycle rider"
  2. i had a lot of issues over the last two weeks... long delay in my workouts sycing I dont know if you have the watch - but someone in the apple watch thread (EDIT: that was Bub marley and Da vinci in this thread sorry) and said I should try the built in workout app of the watch. I just drove from the gym to work - and the workout already shows!
  3. Netflix live in RSA tonight! http://www.fin24.com/Tech/News/breaking-netflix-goes-live-in-south-africa-20160106?isapp=true

  6. they still cant't win, and they are tired as hell - should be fun (for us)
  7. 9 dropped - vat so!
  8. 600 up - i fear that the proteas has been judged harshly prior to the start of their innings. A declaration now will show some balls...
  9. I'd like the idea of a declaration now - putting the well-done pommies under siege by the steyn remover...
  10. This must have been just a joy to watch! The world-record knock finally ended when Pranav's team decided to declare the innings 1465 for 3, with their star batsman still unbeaten at 1009 in just 323 balls he faced during his 395-minute stay at the crease. The runs came at a mind-boggling strike rate of 312.38 and included 129 fours and 59 sixes.
  11. I have used trava with both my apple watch as well as with a wahoo heart rate strap... problem is that strava cuts down my workout times when it loses GPS signal...
  12. So I am still having trouble with Strava logging my indoor workouts - it seems like whenever the GPS signal is week - my workout time gets cut out... my workouts always end up losing about 30-90% in the "duration" of the workout... and I am losing disco points because of this What apps are others using to track indoor workouts?
  13. I did some more digging again - found this comment by a strava developer/person "The Strava App for iPhone/Android does not currently have many features in place for stationary trainer or indoor recording. The App requires a valid GPS signal to record data, and will not be able to record good data when indoors with a weak GPS signal. For now, you can always enter your stationary/indoor metrics in a Manual Activity entry within the App or on the Strava website."
  14. On Dec. 23, Stephen Roseman posted a picture of a dog with a strip of deli meat strewn across its snout. In the caption, Roseman said the dog had been "badly burned and disfigured trying to save his family from a house fire." (This was the caption) This poor dog was badly burned and disfigured trying to save his family from a house fire One like = one prayer One share = ten prayers Despite the obvious trolling, thousands of the Internet's finest came out to show their support for what they thought was an injured pup. And in true Facebook fashion, these brave warriors of change made sure to do the least amount of work possible for what they believed was a worthy cause. http://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/scalefit_630_noupscale/56841e21190000190178ad36.png http://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/scalefit_630_noupscale/56841f23160000b300eb9c1f.pnghttp://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/scalefit_630_noupscale/56841ee31f0000c000e9cb76.pnghttp://img.huffingtonpost.com/asset/scalefit_630_noupscale/56841eb6190000380178ad37.png (EDIT: Thats one neat trick, no way in hell my dog can do that!)

  18. I have tried all angles. I have confirmed this on their website and by testing with both the "native/product" app , as well as with strava. There is no calibration / correlation with gps to measure stride length @pace - it only give steps/minute. Its a pedometer with a 'footpod' lable on the box
  19. Alright. So don't get this footpod... It doesn't measure distance - only steps. It's target market is actually basketball players. I'll refund and order the addidas instead...
  20. Just some fun times on the beach. (Note. I by no means imply I am a photographer, not even a novice....)
  21. Alright kids. This is how we do it. "Uncle Dipslick has an embarrassment of DNFs"
  22. So, an aurora of polar bears, an ostentation of peacocks, an embarrassment of pandas walk into a bar... (Was the scientist who first studied pandas just really disappointed in them?)
